Patreon rehaul and changes for the next year!
Added 2020-12-28 22:33:50 +0000 UTCThanks for sticking around with me this year and especially this break from [un]Divine pages. The time away from UD pages gave me a chance a reevaluate my work and where I want to go with it. Going back to 2016 I had just got out of school and launched my webcomic that I developed since 2014. I did other comics for publishers meanwhile until I was able to work full time on just UD thanks to fans supporting me π₯Ίπ
However,
The problem with my work is in order to keep this up Iβve worked every day, 60+ hours a week for the last 4 years. I canβt visit family or take a break without falling behind my deadlines and inconsistent updates is the Achilles heel to webcomics (I paid the price for missing scheduled updates before). Pretty much, I just canβt keep this up without further messing up my health and after discontinuing Mail Club after December, I canβt continue it financially either as Mail Club actually accounts for more than half my income.
This isnβt all to complain but to explain why I decided to stop doing [un]Divine full time. Iβm thankful to have fans who supported me drawing it the last few years and thatβs why Iβm not quitting entirely. Instead of every week updates, UD pages will be posted as Iβm able to get them done here for patrons and then in batch updates publicly. Same for any other comic I draw, it will be posted on here first as thanks for anyone still wanting to support me.
On the upside-!
Iβll have more time developing my other comics I have in the works! I have a graphic novel Iβm putting a pitch together to send to publishers, the other two are old stories Iβm finally getting around to doing something with. One of them is βClawShot!β, the one with the detectives and shifters. The other is a cyberpunk with cyborgs and ethically-questionable doctors. All the development notes and concepts will go up on the behind the scenes blog.
ππππThanks for reading this far! Hereβs to a new year!! ππ
