This one was a lot of fun to draw. I enjoy lighting and shading the most out of the entire illustrating process and enjoyed the challenge of drawing the blades of grass in and out of the shadows. It created a sense of depth that I was soooooooo satisfied with.
Originally, this piece had a story about Curtis being brought into the forest to bring down a threat. However, upon learning that it was just a kid with a blunt Curtis was worried that a werebear would terrify the kid and potentially elevate the threat to an unwarranted level. Bear form Curtis would instead attempt to talk to the kid from a distance hiding the form that the voice was coming from simply asking him to smoke somewhere else. The kid's punky attitude would eventually persuade Curtis to confront the kid by force in full view as the werebear.
As shown, it went exactly how Curtis envisioned a werebear intervention would result. :\
