As you walk the dusty path through this quaint country town, you notice none of the townsfolk seem to be working their fields or tending their shops. The local inn is deserted. Only the slowly growing din of an agitated crowd to the North provides any explanation.
As you advance, you notice the jeering crowd points up, where a simple gallows stands ready to hang its unlucky victim, protesting her innocence, though none of the gathered crowd seems to care. Do you care to hear her tale of the Hag lurking in her swamp through the haunted forest, or will you hurl a rotten apple at her like the rest?
