StudioNEO Lite - Getting started

NOTICE: If you do not want to download this side-by-side with your existing StudioNEO then you might want the Lite Base pack only.

Let me introduce StudioNEO Lite. It has taken me 9 months to get it this far and if you are new to this or you find your existing version really slow; you might want to give this a try.

Why do you need it?
You don't. If you only like watching the movies you do not need this.

Why it exists...

#1 - I needed a quicker version that only stored the items and accessories I use

#2 - It will be easier to tell new users to download this than it will be to support the huge number of installation differences everyone has.  As this version is so small in size you can still download it and run it along-side your own huge 50GB+ version and decide for yourself which one you want to use.  Before I list the PROs and CONs you need to understand that the intention is to make StudioNEO load faster and render faster. You should notice a huge difference in your frame rate.  I will be surprised if you do not. I have sacrificed 4K textures for the use of better light and blending to keep a higher frame-rate.

The CONS - What features are missing?

#1 - You can't play the game - it crashes if you try

#2 - All items are missing apart from some furniture I have added and the base tools I always use to make scenes work.

#3 - All character accessories are missing apart from Glasses

#4 - H Animation types that are not loops, are removed

#5 - Some Character animations are removed but I will add them back soon as an update

#6 - No maps. I will provide updates soon or you can copy your own maps to it

PROS - The good things

#1 - It comes with the common tools and objects I use for all of my scenes. This includes SOS Dong by Ante Korama,  LookAt + Pistons by Hooh, the latest HSUS by Joan6694 + their other mods + Meta screens + HoneyD hair sets.  They are grouped together in a special Item category. They are all credited and you can find links to their pages at the root folder.

#2 - My floppy tongue is included + Lite skins + Lite hair + Lite basic clothes and a few male and female characters. My default lighting rig + config is included too.

#3 - It will work straight from the .ZIP file without a huge list of instructions

#4 - All new characters and scenes I create will work on it.  

#5 - It is very small in size

How to install

#1 - Download Version 1.0c (444MB)

#2 - Create a new folder where you want this to be installed

#3 - Place zip inside and then right-click and find the "Extract here" option

#4 - Open the file called _README_INSTRUCTIONS.txt and follow that

Change resolution

#1 - Click on the file called Settings.exe and set your resolution. You can launch Game to get to the Character maker and launch StudioNEO to get to that. Do not launch Studio as it will not work.   
Warning: If you already use StudioNEO or HoneySelect you do not have to change the resolution as for reasons I do not understand. They all share the same User config.

Characters and scenes included

You get some male and female characters + 1 boob job scene.
Attached is a quick video showing what you get and how they look on my computer.

How to set the default HoneySelect character onload
I have attached a default character card ZGL_defaultchar.png
Copy that to /UserData/chara/female

1). Browse to /Plugins/HSUS and open config.xml
2). You will see my character set as ZGL_Claudie
3). Change that to ZGL_defaultchar
4). Do not include the .png extension
4). Save and reload HoneySelect

You can set it to any name you want as long as that file name exists in /UserData/chara/female
