The big moment has finally arrived. My debut novel, Skill Eater, has made it to amazon in digital, book, and audiobook form. I have a huge favor to ask today as I celebrate this major milestone in my life as an aspiring author.
The first few weeks after a new book hits the market are critical. More downloads, page reads, ratings, and reviews will encourage the algorithm to favor the story and convince more prospective readers to give it a try, helping Skill Eater find new eyeballs and reach its full potential. In short, clicking those buttons and sharing your thoughts is voting for the success of the series in a literal way.
It has been my dream for over 10 years to write for a living full time, and this is the moment of truth. If Skill Eater does well, I will be able to write more books, more often, pumping out those pages every day to bring you the absolute best stories I can write.
Even if you don’t plan on reading it right away, downloading the book will make a big difference. Some of those readers are so good at bringing the story alive, I’d definitely give a listen even knowing the story, I hope the launch goes great. I don’t have the reader subscription but I’ll try to leave a comment on the book page!
