Big Update Post!

Hello Friends!

I want to thank you all for your support this month and give you an update on exciting things to come! I have two main role plays planned for March, and one that I’ve already made some headway on.

The first role play is intended to be a “comforting you while you visit” type of video. I greet you upon your arrival and then get you settled in and ready for bed. I’ve recorded a sort of hospitality basket sort of section for it. Next, I will be recording a kitchen segment. Someone recently recommended a ginger cake recipe to me from a December issue of the New York Times and I will be making that in the video! I’m very excited to try it myself. Overall, this video is going to be the most “cinematic” and involved (in terms of filming) video I’ve recorded to date. It’s making me a little bit nervous, but excited to complete it.

The second role play is the Mercy role play that I’ve promised for a while now. It’s a video theme that I feel a strong pressure to do right, so I’ve inevitably been procrastinating on! I feel the need to just do it though! I have a cool concept I think, where Mercy is treating a super soldier (like Soldier 76). I’ve been trying to study a bit of Swiss German to adopt a better handle of the accent.

For a Patreon exclusive, I’m going to be releasing a secondhand clothing haul video this month. It’s been all recorded and (barring some catastrophic equipment failure!) should be edited and finished this week or next week!

Ms Peace and Saraity asked me to be a part of a big collab she’s doing involving short segments of “Invisible Scratching”, I’ve recorded and sent my little bit to her so that should be out this month too!

Those of you who follow me on Twitter will have seen that I’ve gotten my seeds for the garden this year! Planting should commence this month and I intend to film another garden video, though that won’t be coming until later this year! All the same, I hope to record more nature videos in general. I was watching a documentary about weasels and stoats this past weekend. And after watching it, I felt compelled to acquire a motion activated trail camera! I don’t quite know how much interesting footage I can obtain, but I will be experimenting with placement and seeking out critters movements over the next couple months! I already had the fortune of capturing a cute, chunky bunn squeezing underneath my neighbors fence!

I’ve been feeding the squirrels this whole winter, and noticed a bit of an outbreak of mange. I read that Ivermectin can be used to treat mange in squirrels so I decided to intervene with one particular squirrel who was hanging around a lot. I’m so happy to see this little buddy make good progress that I just had to share! (Progress from bottom left, clockwise to bottom right.)

Finally, next weekend I will be going on a little weekend getaway. I’m really excited for that! I’ve felt grateful and happy to be taking more mini vacations, they’re so refreshing to clear the mind.
