November 2024 Monthly Forecast

I put 2025 in the title again.

I'm going to preface this with saying, be slow with me. November is about to be the worse month known to man I think for many Americans. So if hardly anything gets done then I'm sorry, I will be working because I really want to do the spirit of NaNoWriMo but I can't predict what's about to go down in five days and I'm terrified.

Speaking of NaNoWriMo though, fuck the actual company but I will be, like I said earlier, be doing the spirit of it. My tweaked out version anyway but an attempt nevertheless. I'm not going to say which story I'll be focusing on because my brain will most definitely say "fuck you, do this one."

I think that's most of the general stuff anyway.

Superstition

• Halloween Short: It is still coming, no one should be surprised when I say that I didn't go the easy way and decided to experiment. I wanted to actually see how much I could write something that holds more horror elements than my usual just "oh there's a creature" or "hey they went to a party" or did this other domestic Halloween thing. So there was a lot of other stuff I had to do to even get a feel at how in the hell you can make something scary or invoke that feeling of having chills through a writing medium.

• All That Comes Before: Got an update, Freshmen Orientation is now completed and up.

• Other: I did a tiny bit of work on the actual rewrite, not enough to really brag about though because it's silly to me to work on the rewrite (even though my brain really wanted to) when AtCB still needs completing for the variable side of things.

Throne of Ashes

• Nothing new to report. But this will be one of the stories I focus on for this month's challenge.

Sea of Stars

• Loyalty: A short commissioned game on 13Stories has been posted showing how Moran met their aiczeots hound.

• I'm actually super proud with the progress I ended up just coming out of nowhere with. I wrote about 19k words for Chapter Six and will be doing a bit more tweaking to the earlier chapters as I can. Like, wow was I so happy and so shocked. I'm going to do my best to finish up the chapter quickly so I can release it early November. Sue me, writing SoS is so much fun and it just makes me remember how much I love writing so I'm enjoying it. This will also be a focus for this month's challenge.

Others

I think I could've put some of that other stuff in Other but I didn't. What ya gonna do, fight me?!
