I actually have tickets next week to go watch the new chainsaw man movie hehehe so excited for it, you guys should check out the trailer:) basically the movie is the next chapter in the manga after the 12 eps you guys will finish! Also fyi: just to keep you guys informed because I feel that most likely you guys will wait to watch both the demon slayer movie and the chainsaw man movie live and react to it once it comes on Crunchyroll I’m guessing, both movies, I think they mentioned are going to become available only next year 2026, idk when in 2026 but I would guess the middle of 2026

You guys are in for a Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.🤣 Yes, Heather, there isn’t anything like Chainsaw Man thanks to the oddball writing style of Tatsuki Fujimoto (the mangaka). The series is a dark satire of the shonen genre & its iconic tropes taken to extreme, bleak, fever-dreamlike levels. Denji is meant to be the opposite of any typical shonen protagonist. He’s immature, socially underdeveloped, & doesn’t understand the basics of human emotions; a thirst for love & belonging, but an inability to understand how to achieve that in a healthy way. His gratefulness for his sudden turn of “luck” makes him appreciative of what he’s been given, but also clouds his judgement. I’m a HUGE fan of Tatsuki Fujimoto; current with the latest chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga & I’ve read all of his other works (Fire Punch & his short stories). He has a unique style of blending the absurd with thought-provoking concepts. Everything is wild, violent, & existential, & I think it’s his unfiltered commentary that really resonates with his audience. So Jason, since I know where the story is going, I can assure you there is enough story for MANY seasons.😉

While i haven't seen this whole series yet, I have seen nothing but positive from people who completed it.

This one is another great one and it has one of my favorite openings, Just like Tavion I also would love for you to watch the ending of each episode, it would be fun if you picked your top 3 or something by the end of the season. Now about the story, it is another more mature kind of anime like Attack on Titan or Death Note, this one in particular leans more towards the sexual and gore themes, you will see a lot of influence from Hollywood, like Tarantino's films, The Chainsaw Massacre and a bit of a coming of age story. It can get a little silly, but I think it's the right amount, and you will notice how beautiful the animation gets in some parts. I hope you guys enjoy it!

There is a chainsaw man movie coming out in theaters in October called chainsaw man the movie: Reze arc. Similar to how demon slayer made the mugen train and infinity castle arcs into movies chainsaw man decided to take the same approach for the reze arc. I don’t watch or read chainsaw man because it’s just not for me but it is a really popular anime. I see snippets of people talking about the manga from time to time and all I have to say is you guys are in for a ride!!
