Get used to flash backs in this show lol I love Naruto and I think it's one of the greatest animes ever, however, the one thing I didn't like was how many flash backs they do and how long they take.

One thing I thought was kinda strange at this point is Naruto's childhood. So far they've made it seem kinda bad. But if they knew a demon could get unleashed from him like this then wouldn't you think they'd find him the best foster family and try to help him out more? They made it seem like he had nobody except the one teacher.

I would watch Naruto when I was high school and I was somewhat popular I also played in the school football team (known as soccer here in the USA) so I was somewhat of a jock, but I don’t think any of my friends knew I would watch it. I never told them not because I thought they would make fun of me or anything, I just knew they didn’t care for it so I never brought it, I doubt it would have been a big deal anyway.

Well everyone has different Tastes. For Example, The first Naruto Season is so " Old" that i watched it when i was a Teenager ( that should be over around 16 Years ago when a German TV Program showed some Anime in his Afternoon Programm ( Between 2pm and 6 pm mostly). Naruto, One Piece, Detectiv Conan, Pokemon, Digimon and other Stuff ( Sadly only in German Dub, but it was for Kids so i think it was ok back then) A lot of Kids didnt watched it, but there were almost as Many who watched it, and often the ones who watched it talked together the Next Day in School about the Episode we saw the Day before, or in Case of Pokemon or YuGiOh we played with Trading Cards etc. Sure, especially Grown Ups may say often enough that this is Childish and what not, but to be honest... who Cares?? Its my Life, and if someone thinks im Weird... then be it. Because in Case that i go out somewhere and i need to wait for a Bus or Train, i bring a Light Novel with me or a Manga and read it in Public ( since im not very often outside, i dont have a Chance to watch Online Videos, so instead im Reading Books) ^^ Once i even needed to go to be Police for something and the Time i was waiting ( 10 Min or such) i was reading a Light Novel while i was waiting there^^

obviously stereotypes are different in various countries. Watching anime in South Africa definitely makes you "uncool".

I was a jock in middle school, watching Naruto doesn't make you less "cool". In fact, Israel Adesanya (UFC middleweight champ) is a Naruto fanboy and Ryan Garcia (future boxing champ) is also a big fan. Can't wait for next week, I hope you can watch 3 episodes.

So many bittersweet memories from watching Naruto, the values it had taught me while I was growing up. I remember episode 19 specifically for making me completely hooked to this show. The first time I watched it was with english dub and even tho i prefer subtitles, I really liked how they worded some stuff. For example, when Naruto spoke to Zabuza and made him cry one of the things Zabuza said was ''your words cut deep, deeper than any blade".

If you are going to read the manga you can ignore this KT.... Just a little fact though. In the manga Zabuza actually decapitates Gato when he kills him. Also Kakashi's Lighting blade kill on Haku was a little censored too because his arm actually pierces through him fully.

Episode 19 was the turning point for me. After that scene, I knew Naruto would not be the typical Shonen (at that time at least). RIP Haku.
