hmmm I wonder what part though, I didn't pick up on him doing worse in any area compared to Kohei and Cakey (can't wait until next time!)

The first is the written part, which is normally a pre-requisite to getting in the water and displaying competency with certain practical skills as the second part (like the buddy breathing and mask clearing that were shown). Passing both is necessary for getting your certification :) Seeing as we already know that Iori passed the written portion, it seems like he is having trouble with the practical portion.. :/
