Yeeees. It’s so good. ❤️ 🎸 I gotta say among everything else good about it (the music, animation, humour and Bocchi growing stronger) I also think it captures quite well some aspect on how playing in a band can be. (At least if you have good band mates.)

So proud of her! 🥹 Actually coming up with musical solutions on the spot like that when stuff goes wrong (and that very much happens playing live) is a skill all on its own. It speaks to her being a great musician because it ain’t easy, being able to listen, adapt and improvise on the spot. There is a fun clip of one of the composers for Bocchi recreating it by cutting the string on his guitar. But doing it non prepared is much harder. https://youtu.be/6wAQRxcLUeE?feature=shared I think most if not all instruments featured in the show are actual existing models, including Bocchi’s black Gibson Les Paul and the black Yamaha pacifica she buys. (Actually saw my local store got that model just last week. Although in a different colour.) The voice actors have also done a couple of concerts singing as kessoku band. And why not? The songs are really good. 👍

2024-05-17 14:59:37 +0000 UTCI also teared up when Bocchi used the glass bottle the play her guitar. 🥹 I think it's because the concert means so much to her and we want her big performance to go well. Against all the bad odds, she came up with her own solution, and that just highlights how good she actually is but she doesn't realise it. I love seeing how much she has grown from when we first met her in E1 and how much hearts her band has for her. Just a really heartwarming show. 💖 Ryo is my favourite, her comedy is so deadpan. 😂 Thank you so much for the reaction 😍

2024-05-17 14:57:57 +0000 UTCThe way Bocchi's string breaks and she switches to bottleneck slide playing might have been inspired by guitarist Guthrie Govan, a similar thing happened mid show to him before. But I think I've heard of other similar instances. But thinking on the spot like that in the middle of playing is pretty genius. You can probably find a clip of it online somewhere.

2024-05-16 23:15:46 +0000 UTCI dont remember if you looked them all up, but Kita also voiced Ubel in Frieren, and Nijika was Lawine (also Kirara in Genshin), what surprised me the most was that the Manager is Fischl (and many other roles)
