Technical difficulties!
Added 2021-03-19 21:51:40 +0000 UTCSorry for not being active at all this week! I've been dealing with some (very frustrating) unexpected complications.
My computer died and my scanner's shitty driver is not compatible with my iPad. As I've mentioned a couple of times since reactivating my Patreon, for the past year or so I've been working traditionally (pencil and ink on paper, that is), only using digital tools for color and text and such.
According to the repair guy, it might not be super worth it to fix the hardware issue with a computer this old, so my boyfriend and I are figuring out whether we can afford a good enough replacement. In the mean time, I've tried my hand at drawing on the iPad so as to not leave you guys high and dry – I'm very rusty when it comes to drawing on that cursed slippery glass, but I think I can come up with something half decent over the next few days.
Please bear with me while I figure this out. Your support is ENORMOUSLY appreciated (specially since I'll probably have to get new hardware!)

I went ahead and tried something rather intricate digitally, and I think it worked out pretty well. I hope you think so too!

I knew about Paperlike but had heard it distorted the image, plus the price seemed like a lot for a simple screen protector – but then your comment encouraged me to research some more, and I ended up finding a more affordable alternative that works really nicely. 2021-03-23 13:52:02 +0000 UTCAlso I HIGHLY recommend ordering a screen protector from Paperlike! It’s a considerable investment that prevents your Apple Pencil from “gliding,” as well as creates a paper-like texture when drawing. :)
