I Wasn't Supposed To SHRINK 008

Sorry for the abrupt post, just managed to get this out. Hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend (if applicable)!

As Katie continued to catch her breath, she saw what looked like 2 tiny dolls. She wasn't sure what to make of it, her eyes were still adjusting from the major light reduction after being thrown into the purse. She could have sworn she saw them move, but how? Ignoring the tiny dolls for a moment as she recovered, she looked around the purse. A huge glowing screen was to her left, what looked like a massive smart phone. To her right was a large picture of Tessa, what she determined to be her driver's license. She wasn't sure the round object she landed on, but she was balancing on it. She used her arms to push the upper part of her body higher, grabbing onto the phone and driver's license.

Just then she heard the rubbing of material around her. Just as she looked up, she saw large digits for just a moment as the light began to fade, and a roof slowly appeared over her head. Tessa was closing her purse. "No, you bitch!" she yelled up in anger and fear. At this point, she figured she just needed to sit and think about this for a minute before deciding what to do next. The position she was in on top of this circular object as uncomfortable. She slid off of it and was able to use her rear to push it back away from her, to make room for her to keel between the phone and driver's license. She noticed the round object was foundation of some sort. She couldn't believe she was tossed into a purse like some "item", like she wasn't human.

She looked over at the license, Tessa seeming to stare back at her. She still couldn't figure it out. Why did Tessa take her instead of helping her? As she thought about it, she remembered that Tessa said something about "not thinking it would be this fast." Did... Tessa somehow do this to her? But how??? How was this even possible in the first place? And how did a young girl even have the power to do this?

Suddenly, she heard a high-pitched "hi" come from the direction of the dolls. Her head shot back toward them; her eyes now better adjusted to the new environment. They weren't dolls. They were 2 moving... women, giving light waves towards her. In a bit of shock from not only being shrunk and tossed into a purse, but now seeing people the size of dolls... at her new size, she goofily waved back, saying "hello".

One of the women looked a bit smaller than the other and had more of a worried look on her face, much like herself. The other one looked determined and started to quickly squeak out words after Katie said hello.

"There isn't time to explain everything. We know more than you about what's going on, and you are going to have to listen and trust me right now. You are our only shot at getting us all out of this situation, but there isn't much time. Do you understand?"

Katie was a little slow to respond, and was a bit taken aback to hear such a small doll-sized woman barking orders. The girl did not give her much time to respond. "DO... YOU... UNDERSTAND??" she said a bit louder, but no less squeaky.

Katie finally responded. "Y-Yes. What do you need me to do?"
