Experiment 76 Part 2 (Scenes 17-23)

Scene 17:

As the sun rose and the birds chirped, Ivana slowly rolled over and woke up. For a moment, she thought maybe everything she had remembered happening was a dream but was quickly reminded by where she was sleeping and her oversized attire. Surprising, she felt well rested.

"Oh boy..." she said as she started to yawn. "Ok, new day." she thought to herself. Suddenly, she heard a knock at the door. She immediately froze. Who could that be at this hour? Suddenly, she heard a thud, footsteps, a slam of a door, and the sound of a truck speeding away. Then it clicked. "My package!"

Scene 18:

She went up to her front door, unlocked and turned the chest-high doorknob. She slowly opened the door, trying her best to ensure no one was in her driveway, and no one could see her from the street. She quickly picked up the oversized, but relatively light, box inside.

She began to open it and unpack the panties, socks, shirt, skirt, and shoes, all looking to be the right colors and sizes at a quick glance. She was still not pleased with how... young it all looked. The clothes were all from the kid’s department, so it just had that feel and look to it.

Scene 19:

She quickly disrobed and put her new clothes on. The shoes, panties, and low-cut socks fit fine, the skirt fit well enough, and the shirt was a bit baggy, long in the sleeves too, which she figured would be. Anything smaller and she couldn't get away from the full-on girly look. To her horror, she looked down and saw it wasn't the plain shirt she selected, rather the one that had the text "Yeah Right!" in big, pink letters.

Scene 20:

"Are you kidding me? I selected the plain one!" she let out. Furious, she'd normally call them up and give her a piece of her mind and demand a refund, but she was in a very unique situation where she was just going to have to... go with it. It hurt her inside to just "give in" like that, but she had no choice if she wanted to restore herself as quickly as possible. She almost just wanted to switch into the clothes she shrunk with, but in the bigger picture, she'd get more looks that way, looking so formal and all at her size and proportions. At least with these clothes, people that may know her would just look her over as a teen or kid. The thought of being confused for a teen or kid was already making her more furious, but she was just going to have to deal with it.

Scene 21:

She quickly put both her and Aurora's phones into her clutch, which barely fit, and headed out into the world at her new size. She got into her car and began driving towards the college campus. It being in the morning made it much better to drive, being able to see everything better. She just needed to avoid the rising sun as the visor was going to do her no good at this height.

Scene 22:

As she arrived at Freedom Hall, she could see all of the students getting up and going to morning classes... tons of them. "Damn, I didn't get here early enough..." she thought to herself, hoping to skip the crowds. But she had to push on. She was strong, but this massive loss of size had put her strength into question. Did she derive all her strength from her above-average height? No, it couldn't be, she was strong mentally too... right? She put the thought aside and hopped out of the truck.

She made her way inside, walking down the hallways, trying to find and make her way to the dorm room. Luckily there were signs. She did NOT want to talk to anyone, much less ask them for directions. As she passed by the students, she was reminded how small she was. Aurora was already below average height. Being in a female dorm, the heights were much more scattered, and higher. She kept getting looks, mostly smiles or someone saying "hello" in a cute manner. She was sure they thought she was someone's younger sister, which made her sick to her stomach...

She then heard the worse thing possible, from someone in a pink crop top and short blonde hair. "Do you know where you are going sweetie?" Ivana didn't know what to say. Who the hell was the girl calling "sweetie"? Ivana just barked out "I know where I am going.” and continued onward. "Sweetie?" she thought to herself, "this is so humiliating..." as she covered her face a bit.

Scene 23:

Finally, she made it to dorm room 2E and knocked, hoping to quickly enter after Aurora answered to discuss next steps and then to get out of there as soon as possible and back to the lab. No answer. She knocked a little louder. "Hello? Aurora?" she said, hoping she didn't miss her before she headed to her first class. Suddenly she heard someone say "I'm coming, I'm coming..." but it wasn't Aurora's voice. All the dots connected in her head. How could she be so stupid? Aurora also has a roommate, heck that's the only reason Aurora knew she was coming today! Ivana was so caught up on talking with Aurora and getting back to the lab that she wasn't even thinking that both Aurora and her roommate could be here at the same time, or worse, just the roommate.

Ivana prepared herself as she could hear the approaching footsteps, she was just going to have to roll with whatever happened next...
