How My Patreon Exclusives Work

This post will serve as a guide to the workings of my exclusives here on Patreon, as well as how you can get in on it!

Please note: suggestions ARE NOT guaranteed to be picked! I will try to look over and give each suggestion a chance, but some may not be ones I'm comfortable doing!

Main Exclusives:

Twice per month, generally around the first and 15th of the month, I will create a post calling for your requests. This post is accompanied by a discussion thread on my Discord server, where most of the deliberation takes place.

If you do not wish to join the discord server, you may leave a reply on the suggestion posts or directly send me a message with your idea, and I will submit it to the thread for discussion.

The subjects of the main exclusives can be characters from existing media, a generic character/species, or my own original characters. When submitting a character, please be sure to include some extra information, like size, body type, or a small scenario. These pieces will be fully finished pieces with shading, the type of shading depending on the art style the media the character originates from, the theming of the piece, or the overall "vibe" of what's going on. You can also link to specific references and examples if you like. Additionally, repeat characters ARE allowed! If you'd like to see more of a certain character, don't hesitate to suggest it, I would be happy to revisit past subjects.

Exclusive Sketches:

To fill the gap between main exclusives, I will do smaller, less finished sketches. These have the same general rules as the main exclusives, though they will be a bit more sporadic and won't feature official discussion threads, instead they will be chosen from the pool of patron suggestions. These are more sporadic and unscheduled than the main exclusives, so the total number of them I do per month isn't concrete, it will mostly go based on what other content I have going up.

The sketches may be altered versions of previous ideas, tweaked suggestions from the form, or, for those who have ideas they'd like to see explicitly as a sketch rather than a main exclusive, there is an option in the suggestion form to mark an idea as a suggestion for a sketch explicitly.

Exclusive Expiration:

As new exclusives come out, I release older ones publicly. Year-old exclusives will be put out on my other social media accounts when a new exclusive is finished. For example, the first exclusive of last March will be made public once the first exclusive of this March is finished. This ensures that my supporters all have an entire year's worth of exclusive content, while not fully alienating those who can't support me, as well as helping to promote this account.
