Switching to Subscription Billing
Added 2024-08-12 15:48:04 +0000 UTCThanks to Apple being Apple, the 1st of the month billing option is going to be disallowed on their store and will charge an extra 30% on top of my current price starting in November if you signed up through the app on an iOS device. Thankfully, if you signed up on desktop or through a web platform/browser, you should still be fine in terms of cost, it seems to only be the signing up on iOS that will result in extra fees. As for the subscription billing, this means that anyone who joins from now on will be charged on the same day of the month that they joined, but anyone who has been supporting will continue to be charged on the 1st of the month as usual. Hopefully this won't cause any issues for anyone, and if you did happen to subscribe to me on the iOS app, be sure to cancel and resubscribe on desktop or through a browser if you can to save some cash!
