New Year's resolutions for 2022

I wanted to write down some things that I've learned in my brief time writing in 2021:
- I got burned-out after writing really aggressively in October; hence my silence in November.
- Certain writing platforms (like DeviantArt / FanFiction / Tumblr / Archive of Our Own / etc) have unique readerships. I'll probably make a post on this next year but it's really interesting to see where the fan communities are!
Going into 2022, here's my plan:
- Don't go overkill. It's fun to write stories; it's less so when trying to pump them out aggressively while still working a full-time job. I'm going to change my release cadence to at least one chapter a month instead of trying to cram as many chapters I can write. That way, I can be more predictable and provide some incentive now that we're on Patreon.
- I've been able to talk to a lot great people in each writing community. Y'all have great ideas and I want to make sure to include as much feedback as possible!
- I see 2022 as a year where I get much more comfortable with writing. Maybe in 2023 I can get suggestions on what other fan communities I should explore...
