I apologize for the long wait. Since our last update, I have continued to improve the game mechanics. Additionally, I purchased and played Street Fighter 6 to conduct some research, and it has greatly influenced the updates. I am currently working on the following three points:
Just Guard By timing your defense against an enemy's attack perfectly, you enter a "Just Guard" state, which allows for stamina recovery and the ability to immediately counterattack. Enemies can use this mechanic too. If an enemy successfully performs a Just Guard, they will then transition into a combo as a counterattack. There is a sample video that shows a Just Guard scenario where an enemy blocks Marie's series of attacks.
Combos Both players and enemies can now perform combo attacks. Players can execute these by rapidly clicking the mouse. I'm still considering whether to retain the previous methods of attack or not. In the sample video, Marie demonstrates this with her sequence of attacks. Currently, only Taichi, Marie, and Shady have their combos set up, and I am carefully crafting what these combos entail.
Special Move Cinematics Before a special move is executed, there will be a unique cinematic. This might seem like a minor change, but after playing Street Fighter 6, I felt compelled to include it. This is also shown in the sample video. I have already created cinematics for the existing number of special moves, but since I only have four special moves ready, I need to create six more.
Other updates
I have enabled Taichi to perform a Grab attack, which is included in the sample. I have not yet created Pin and special attacks, but I am planning to do so.
I have also received various other requests and suggestions. I will be considering each of them in turn, so please stay tuned for further updates.
