No heads-up, no updates—just silence when he starts this “one or two episodes every two days” nonsense. He hasn’t kept his promises, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. If something is going on in his personal life, he doesn’t have to share every detail, but we at least deserve a heads-up if he’s going to disappear for a day or two or start uploading less. We’re literally paying him for the easiest job ever—watching movies and shows. I love Don’s reactions, and he has some amazing series lined up, but he simply doesn’t upload enough to justify 3,000+ people paying him $5–$15 a month. It's finally getting to the final stage, my patron renews in 2 days. This is the last month Donald, obviously 1 person isn't going to affect him but its the idea that so many people have been disappointed because he just doesn't tell us anything. Literally all it would take to stop every single person from complaining about the current state is 1 update video regarding the current shows, timeline and what you plan to watch in the future. No one is wrong here, people just don't know what's going on. In the recent history of this channel, if it doesn't get 10k+ YT views on a video, it will likely be cut. There's a rare occurrence where he will still post the show if he is 100% bought in on it though despite the views. New seasons/shows also take priority over older ones. However, there is also that update video he did for 2025 that he is not upholding. There's also the aspect of things where he builds a community around a show, promote it as ahead on patreon, people sub on patreon, and then he randomly stops posting that show. Everyone fighting in the comments are either happy with how things are because they are mostly getting what they want, or they are just frustrated at miscommunication and promises that holds no weight. Doesn't affect me because I only subbed again to watch F4 but this is my perspective on things.
