Added 2017-02-21 00:24:09 +0000 UTCWell, glad to see I picked up at least a couple of new patrons after the update(Thanks!). I was a bit burnt out, so I took the weekend off anything to do with the game (also needed to catch up on other stuff I put off in favor of getting the update done).
I'm back to fiddling with things for the minor scene pack release today. I blew $30 I probably really ought not to have to pick up a couple of Daz assets that will hopefully let me make at least one more male character, and open up a way to get more skin tones in the long run. It's the absolute last asset I spent any of my personal funds on, though. I'v already paid out something like $350 to get the assets I already have, and I just can't justify any more purchases for what is currently a hobby (This will, of course, change if I get significant Patron support).
At any rate, tonight I'm going to be fiddling with the new assets to see if I can create a new male character with them. If I can, I'll have a profile up within a few days (and an additional poll for $10 Patrons). I'm also going to begin fiddling with creating Faith's Apartment, the very first place outside the Academy grounds that will be put into the game.
Strangely enough, I actually have an overabundance of assets for that purpose. Apartment scenes are, apparently, the popular scene set to release for free. This is going to cause the inverse problem from normal. Instead of hacking together and repurposing assets to make something vaugely like I need, I'll actually need to sort out which ones NOT to use.... It's kinda a nice change, actually.
