Mira (Magical Girl) - The Sexy Cosplay Cafe

So...this one took me several days longer than I'd hoped and I'm still not completely happy with it. Practically, I need to move on, however. The reason this one took so long was mostly the combination of the pose (her breasts would not behave, I must have redrawn them a dozen times), and the hair. I had no idea how to do two-tone hair, and couldn't find so much as a single relevant tutorial across the entirety of the internet. 

Unfortunately, it's important to this particular character's story, so I had to spend two entire days trying various things to get it to work. I even consulted with two artist friends of mine, and finally ended up with what I have. It's not really as good as I'd like, but it's acceptable. I also...kinda forgot to add the magic wand that was originally supposed to go with this outfit. Unfortunately, by the time I realized I'd forgotten it, I was deeply into the shading/lighting stage and it would have been very difficult to fix. So, future versions of this outfit might or might not have it, but this one isn't going to anytime soon....

Also, I feel I should mention that future art for these characters will be quicker (it's not always going to take me a week to finish one of these, the current goal is get it down to no more than three days). Right now, the reason they are taking so long is that I'm finalizing design and color palettes for all of them as I go. I now, for example, know what their skin tones, hair tones, and eye colors are, and will be able to color those faster on every new piece of art for them. Same thing with everything from eye shape to hair style, to general body proportions. 

Anyway, this is the 3rd of four girls I wanted finalized art for before I formally switch over the Patreon. I'd also like to get a single view of the cafe itself, if I can. But to be honest I haven't yet tried to draw a place, only people. So we'll see on that. Either way, I'm planning the switch over sometime in the next week or so.
