Progress Report
Added 2018-08-20 12:12:55 +0000 UTCSo...I can already tell I won't be releasing Sexy Cosplay Cafe today. I just didn't get enough done over the weekend. Which isn't to say I didn't get quite a lot done. I spent something like 10-12 hours working on it and added quite a bit in.
The peeping scenes are functional, including one that is a critical element to Mira's story (meaning that I actually had to put that part of the story in). Likewise, I added in a bunch of things that are minor NOW, but needed to be there for completeness sake. Like adding profiles for the other girls on the relationship panel. Technically, Mira's is the only one that's going to matter in the first release, but it looked...kinda pathetically sad and incomplete with only her button there. So I put together the other three.
I also had to revamp the way I handled days ending/sleeping. The way I was doing it was just plain crude and I discovered some holes in the method that could have left time not advancing properly when it needed to. So I had to rebuild that. And I hadn't actually prepped the images for the hentai-scenes. In fact, I've been prepping images (resizing them, occasionally doing some reshading to make the older ones look less crappy, and sometimes putting them into backgrounds for specific purposes, etc.) as I've gone along. Which is part of what's taken me so much longer than I thought.
Anyway, this is just a notice to let you know it's going to be another day or two. Hopefully only another day or two. I'm at the point that I'm mostly injecting actual story events and writing, rather than creating complex code, so I'm hoping it will be fairly speedy from this point on. I just know I can't do all the rest I have to do in a single day. The tutorial alone will likely take me a couple of hours (not that it's going to be LONG, I just have to figure out how to explain everything in a short and simple format). I'll have a better idea tomorrow morning exactly how much longer it will take.
