November Short Story - Mass Effect: The Final Error (Part 5)

Alright, the first short of the month is FINALLY here. Part of the reason why it's taken much longer than usual is that I realized the already-existing 29,000 words were in dire need of an editing pass to clean up a lot of grammatical errors. Far more errors than I typically allow to seep into my work. It's done now, however, part 5 coming in at around 6,300 words. I'm...mostly happy with the result. Fanfiction isn't something I've written in a serious way before, something complicated by the fact that this is lemon-focused fanfiction. So I'm struggling a bit to find a balance between world-building and sex. This new part breezes through the Feros mission, and I'm a bit afraid I may have shortened it too much, despite not really wanting be one of those authors that simply retreads the game missions with tiny changes. I was a lot happier with how Eden's Dawn and Noveria went. Feros...both wasn't a mission I actually liked myself, and didn't seem to fit as well into the new narrative I've been building, so I'm less than perfectly satisfied with the results. Thankfully, after this, the next part is going to contain a lot more off-the-rails original content, as we've reached critical mass on the changes I've made to the storyline.
