You missed a Rose mention btw (: when Martha and The Doctor are in bed and he’s trying to figure out the answer of the carrionites he says “Rose would know.” So yeah, he’s definitely not over her yet. Other words, I love this episode (: very good first proper adventure of the season.

There was actually a possibility around this time of an episode written by JK Rowling in which the Doctor ended up inside her world of Harry Potter through some aliens playing with fiction or something. I think they decided that would be a bit too mental in the end :D

Sorry, didn't see the correction from Chris above! :) Oh, one thing I am finding watching this season with you again is I'm really warming to Martha (I didn't like her back in 2008). I like Freema Agyeman a lot now though, as I love her in Sense8, so I think that helps. Also, I know that Martha gets better and better with each episode.

Hey... I really didn't enjoy this episode - hadn't watched it for a long time and it was just a bit meh for me. Couple of things: 1. You have never seen Queen Elizabeth before - it was Queen Victoria you saw in Season 2 (when they visited the 19th century, not the 16th century! [so Torchwood is not invented yet]) 2. I love your confused face at Martha's joke at the end... 'Shakespeare walks into a bar, the owner says 'You're bard'. because Shakespare was known as The Bard... 3. Your cuteness whenever Rose is mentioned is funny. The wishful thinking 'is her face going to be in the crystal ball'. Nope. Then your disappointed expression. :D

You’re thinking of Queen Victoria who started torchwood. This was Queen Elizabeth The first. At this point in the show, we don’t know why Elizabeth hates him.
