For Those Experiencing Issues With The Latest DW Episode

I think the main issue with keeping the events that took place lasting and not reversing time would have back then been really hard to keep up and handle with a show like doctor who, you see this with the aliens constantly having effects on the world and now 10% of the world and all of japan is dead who can you keep those sort of things going and then adding on top of that. Soon everyone would be dead in the series and the Doctor would have no one to save on earth XD They wrote themselves into a corner so it was necessary to create an out even if it felt kind of meh. I think the Doctor flying was a bit over kill and silly but i remember back when i saw it the first time i was so Hyped and thought it was the best thing. Just goes to show how corny it was back in the day even during classic who at times. So i hate and love those moments and its hillarious to me to see new comers react to the corniness XD Best Villain but the resolution could have been handled differently. Show glimpses of the doctor doing more like the whole plan to get to get the Masters screwdriver could have been more well set up to show that the doctor used it to link himself into the archangel network it may have been implied that he did but seeing it is important for the audience else it feels like *A Wizard Did It* sort of thing. I mean like why did jack need to escape? Maybe he had to type a code or do something to over ride certain things to help the doctor link himself into the Network or something. Idn just ideas really but overall the twists and reveals were what had me hooked though this finally. Professor YANA and the Fob Watch, the Face of Bow!!! Harrald Saxson being int he background the whole time setting traps and using Marthas Family. The Arch Angel network Masking the Masters scent from the Doctor. And Lazarus experiment for immortality. All great tie-in's and twists leading up to something massive which it was, but the ending wasnt as satisfying as it could be.

Ya and that why I just liked this episode. A lot of that wasn’t all too well executed considering how well they’ve handled other finales and even resolution to other episodes. I still have a ton of finales to see but between 1-3 might be my least fav. 2 definitely being the greatest. That and 1 was insane for that first regen haha

Aaaaand watched, yeah I think this episode is a bit odd..... The religious type resolution with the doctor flying thru the air with magical powers just doesnt work for me, I much prefer it when he THINKS his way out of it. Plus the Toclophane are odd..... And the convemient 'it never happened' time reversal at the end. Luckily I think this is the worst season finale! Great reaction as always.x

Haha I was preparing myself for your reaction to the face of boe. It shook me when I found out. The whole thing with the world shouting out The Doctor was very cheesy but I still got goosebumps lol. I'm gonna miss Martha so much but I'm excited for season 4.

Eccleston was the only Doctor who was on for a season, and that's because of a choice by him. He didn't want to be known for just 1 role/typecast as 1 role. He also wasn't keen on how some of the higher ups were treating work crew, etc.
