It makes so much more sense in terms of timey-wimey stuff once you've seen 'the future'... Oh God... I love it. People have already spoiled the fact that River is around quite a bit more in the future, so I will say it: Donna and River are probably my two favourite characters of all-time, so having both together is a treat.

2018-11-12 20:38:21 +0000 UTCIn my opinion, this is the best (or one of the best) two-parters in all of Doctor Who. It may not be evident in the first part, but I honestly think that the second part is one of the most brilliant, emotional, engaging and satisfying pieces of television in existence. Imagine a bunch of the best sci-fi and narrative ideas (each of which could have its own very good episode) pieced together seamlessly, with one totally mind bending twist added on top. I swear, every time I watch it, I just have complete chills throughout the whole thing, from start to finish. It’s my third favourite DW episode, and by far my favourite David Tennant episode. His acting is superb. (okay ill stop gushing about it now)

People are split with her like every character on this show. This episode on the other hand, I love it. So great & I love the concept. Next episode is even better. Also can I ask for nobhate for not loving River Song? I’m expecting the backlash 😂
