This is one of my favorite episodes. I don't think I've ever been able to watch this without tearing up when they show Vincent the future it’s just such a heartfelt ending

2020-11-19 18:02:37 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite episodes. The plot is decent, the monster is decent, but what really sets it apart for me is the beautiful ending. I’ve always liked Van Gogh and it’s just such a heartfelt ending with the right mixture of sadness and happiness.

The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things.

2019-01-24 06:25:05 +0000 UTCLooking at Amy's scene with Vincent in this episode where she starts crying about Rory, and having scene how the cracks are fucking everywhere, you've got to wonder- just how many people out there have lost someone to the cracks and not remembered? The situation in the Angels episode doesn't really give a chance to process the full horror of that but it could be happening everywhere. All those people out there who feel like they have a hole in their life but can't place why... perhaps, in some cases, even multiple holes.
