I love seeing the confusion on your face about the milk being in a bottle and not the wacky Canadian bags. Why bags? Just why?

go to 9.25, the doctor opened the door the same time his mum did

I love it whenever they throw in the timelords telepathic abilities. The doctor hates doing it so they don’t use it often, but it’s a nice little throwback to the classic series.

I enjoyed this a fair bit more this time round than I did when it first aired. I'd have taken James Corden and Daisy Haggard over Karen Gillan, who I am still finding as annoying as I did the first time round - I just don't think she's a very good actor I'm afraid, and certainly a huge comedown from Catherine Tate. I would say for me this is the episode where Smith really found all his final quirks as the Doctor. FUN FACTS: The 5th Doctor was an expert cricket player; The 3rd Doctor a fan of Venusian martial arts. Now 10 is a skilled football player. So diverse. :D

When you uploading the next episode.

I thought it was a normal spaceship using a perception filter to disguise itself as the second floor. When was it equated with being a tardis? Being able to travel in time isn’t unique to a tardis or time lords. Humans in the future do it (time agents) and so do Daleks to a limited degree

one time it had snowed so much it was up to my waist, and you know what? I went to school just like every day.

"school was cancelled today" that must be nice... here in Finland no such thing as cancelled school no matter what the weather is lol

Really fun episode, I like it a lot. :)

Also another fun fact was that Matt Smith was going to be a professional Football before an actor but he got a back injury which made him give it up and become an actor.

Fun fact 2: the fact that the bootleg TARDIS effectively disguised itself as the entire floor of a building is actually something that a properly functioning TARDIS (ie not the Doctor's) would do. Blend in perfectly with its surroundings and convince everyone not to pay attention to it.

Good point - when they mentioned 6 billion PPl early in the series I think around ecc’s time that made sense (I believe but by 2011 I swear the population was around 7B.

Fun fact 1: note that they gave an oddly specific number for the "untested pilots" for the ship. Presumably the population of the world, but what's interesting is that it's off from what the actual population was when this season was filmed, by a few hundred million. Lack of research? Lack of caring? Or casualties of the cracks?

Sachal Ali

This was always one of top for me this season also. I just like that the Doctor made a new friend, makes me happy.

Patrick McMahon

Fun fact, Matt Smith aspired to be a football player but had to stop because of an injury, and after that he got into acting, so that's why The Doctor is so good at football :)

Lilly M.

Wasn't keen on this episode at all. felt like fluff and filler.

I live in the town where this episode is based, nothing else to say just putting it out there hehe

I love this episode - it’s such a weird plot but so cute!

I like to call this episode my "guilty pleasure" of Doctor Who. It's one of my favourite ever episodes and it's one that I choose to watch when I'm feeling down.
