I have to hold my hands up. When Season 6 Episode 4 happened in real life (back in 2012?) I gave up on the show for a good year or so. I hated the pirate episode in the previous week and I found this a bit too pretentious for its own good... so I actually gave up for a year. And eventually caught up just in time for the 50th anniversary so that I could watch that and understand everything. That was the only time I ever gave up on Who..... and now for the second time, I've found it incredibly difficult to get through this episode. I've tried 4 times over the last three weeks. I think it's the only 'fan favourite' that I actively hate. It gives me zero feels, I find it all a bit 'fan wanky' to be honest (British term). And that's why I'm now over 3 weeks behind with your reactions, because I just couldn't bring myself to finish this... thankfully through it and hopefully can get back into the series again now because I remember liking the second half of Season 6 a fair amount.

2019-03-29 00:19:46 +0000 UTCI am sad about the rooms (probably a set budget issue). For Rory's POV I bet he saw something similar but was unfazed because you can't get inside the head of a 2000 year old badass quite so easily.

2019-03-08 01:30:05 +0000 UTCOddly we only see from Amy’s perspective. What was Rory seeing when they were separated? Also, if there were ever a time to see the other rooms, like the swimming pool or library, it had the perfect opportunity here.

2019-03-07 20:14:24 +0000 UTCAdd 1 more to Rory's death count via House's illusions / time fuckery / whatever was happening there. We're up to 6.

2019-03-05 23:33:15 +0000 UTCWhen’s next episode?
2019-03-05 22:02:05 +0000 UTCWhen’s the next episode dropping
2019-03-05 02:24:55 +0000 UTCYou don’t imagine your car hating you in a passive aggressive way?
2019-03-02 10:17:49 +0000 UTC“What’s your name? 700 years, finally he asks. You always called me ‘sexy’ Only when we’re alone. We are alone. Well then come on sexy.”
2019-03-02 10:15:47 +0000 UTC"Does he still stroke bits of the TARDIS? Yes, he does! I'm like "do you two want to be alone"?"

2019-03-02 07:32:19 +0000 UTCSuch a good episode. I remember a lot of people thought Ten was coming back when they showed the next week teaser for the episode.

2019-03-01 21:20:46 +0000 UTCThey had to build that set again specifically for this episode, since it was torn down and destroyed after End of Time
2019-03-01 20:35:41 +0000 UTCdon't drive myself, but i imagine this episode speaks to people that have a favourite car and give them a personality, imagine having a vehicle for so long (almost a thousand years) and then one day it could talk back to you - very emotional, probably my fav doctor who episode

2019-03-01 20:12:48 +0000 UTCjust liked to apologize for not being more vocal about 9 & 10's consoles appearing LOL

2019-03-01 15:55:19 +0000 UTCOne neat thing about this episode is that the little cubes are actually a call back to the second doctor’s final serial, The War Games, which is the first appearance of the Time Lords. Up until that point, it was known that the Doctor was some kind of alien, but his species hadn’t been given a name or described in any way. The Doctor, after determining that this was much too big of a temporal mess for him to straighten out on his own, makes one of those boxes and sends it out to summon the Time Lords to put it straight.
2019-03-01 15:41:38 +0000 UTCThis is one of my top 3 episodes

2019-03-01 11:41:25 +0000 UTC“Borrowing implies the eventual return of the thing that was taken. What makes you think I’d ever give you back?” Is quite illuminating too.
2019-03-01 10:09:06 +0000 UTCThe control room that amy and rory entered was 9/10's tardis.
2019-03-01 09:14:15 +0000 UTCFantastic episode! Gives you all kinds of emotion. One thing you didn't pick up on was that the console room they go to near the end was Nine/Ten's Tardis console room - Surprised you didn't pick up on that

2019-03-01 08:53:39 +0000 UTC“You didn’t always take me where I wanted to go”. Yes but I always took you where you NEEDED to go.” Makes you look at the whole series differently.
2019-03-01 07:25:29 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite episodes. I have seen this multiple times but just now caught “The only water in the forest is the river” line. I know what it means but you don’t yet! HA! I love going back and watching episodes after I have watched all the seasons. There is always some hint I missed.
2019-03-01 05:16:29 +0000 UTCI don’t think he knows who Neil Gaiman is. Not everyone has read Good Omens or American Gods. But I also love that line from Amy.
2019-03-01 05:08:56 +0000 UTCThere's a lot in this one, great for a rewatch. Fun concept and pretty well executed!
2019-03-01 03:55:07 +0000 UTCI don't know if you noticed that Neil Gamian wrote this episode. I laughed real hard when Amy said "Doctor, did you just wish real hard???" I loved that.
