Something about the way Miller said "yeah, no. I missed that boat" when asked if he had kids always stuck with me. It's like the guy just doesn't care about life anymore, and he's so apathetic he doesn't even want to off himself.

2019-06-26 23:43:32 +0000 UTCRight?! I found the twist with the rockets to be exactly what I was anticipating the entire episode in terms of a conflict / major shift. Very cool idea just OFFING a whole ship, how they remaining crew will adapt will sure be fun to see

2019-06-26 17:17:28 +0000 UTCAy! Thanks so much for the heads up fam :) Looking forward to it, world building is cool with me, looking forward to learning more about the world. And awesome! Glad to know, I hope I got a good source with all the cursing ;) LOL

2019-06-26 17:16:05 +0000 UTCEveryone always says they're not sure about this show until a few episodes in (I'm not saying when exactly for the sake of *spoilers*) but for me Episode 1 was so intriguing and the twist at the end of that episode gave me goosebumps straight away... Totally chilled me as they realised it was a different ship that the torpedo was headed for and half the cast you'd met were killed off in one fell swoop.

The 'juice' is a cocktail of drugs to deal with the high G of accelorating and deceralorating. The first few episodes take a fair bit of world building, so can feel a bit slow, learning the characters and the world. By episode 4 it takes off and never slows down. Not sure where you sourced the video, but I'd recomend sourcing from either amazon or 'space' (the canadian scifi station), as SyFy edits language alot, and some of the characters are pure poets with their use of cursing etc haha.

2019-06-26 00:22:54 +0000 UTCYou will notice that the Belters have their own creole language with a mix of alot of languages. they purposely didn't subtitle or translate them, to make you a mere earther feel a bit off balance. The language uses alot of hand gestures because Belters spend alot of time working in spacesuits. There is no magical gravity machines in this universe like you have in star trek etc. They only have 'gravity' on ships when the ships are accelorating or decelorating, otherwise they need to use magnetic boots. The matchheads seemingly make the shit coffee they have somewhat drinkable. haha
