This is a better episode than I remember it being... I enjoyed the twist - it was a surprisingly clever idea.

I really like 12's outfit. It's a little stark, minimalist and doesnt draw too much attention. Kind of suits his Doctor

Endgame! ๐Ÿ˜

Cooper Vision

I found that initially - but then I did a full rewatch and fell totally in love with 11 all over again. I honestly cannot choose between 11 and 12 for my favourite Doctor. The only thing I can say for certain is that Moffat's era is my favrourite era of Who, across both the new and classic series.

After watching 12 for a while, try 11 again. As good as 11 is you really notice all the "tawdry quirks" as the dream lord once said. Can be hard to watch again at first.

What I get/feel from the 'odd' ending there with 12 is kinda the Doctor just reacting to the physical affection he got from Saibra. This Doctor struggles with and is often downright dumbfounded at that sort of stuff now. With him 'not being a hugging sort of person now' to the bafflement he showed when Marion kissed his cheek in gratitude. And since his regeneration he has been questioning himself, asking if he is a good man, and this episode, before she thought she was going to die, Saibra said 'A good man. I left it too late to finally meet one of those.' The Doctor was clearly affected by her supposed death much more than he was letting on, but he had to keep the team on track otherwise everything falls to shit. He's keeping people at arms length (other than Clara) and hiding his truer emotions in order to get through the adventures he goes on, but at the end of this episode, the TARDIS is full of life and laughter with new friends and they've just robbed a bank, saved the last remaining of the Tellers species and he's started to let himself go a bit. And when Saibra leaves at the end...well that moment slips away and he misses it.

A sort of Oceans 4 with some nice twists. Slick and entertaining;but - because it's neither offensively bad nor a game changer - it tends to get forgotten about.

You could use his head as a icecream scoop. I don't wanna become a scooper trooper! Had me in stitches.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Not a bad episode, thought it was a step up from Dalek and Robin Hood when I first saw this and Listen. Glad you caught the Endgame reference, they definitely must be Doctor Who fans with this and Spider-Man's "I don't want to go." ๐Ÿ™‚ Next episode is the last of the ones I didn't really like, maybe time will have helped it, it's one that I rarely watch.
