I remember thinking this was a weak episode when I first saw it (and it still seems to be considered the worst BM episode), and it definitely has a different tone to it, I think because it was a pre-BM concept but, I dunno, with some recent world events - in more than one country - it seems more relevant now than it was when it was written, and I actually see it in a different way from a re-watch. Also, there's another Doctor Who actress in this - Tamzin was in A Good Man Goes to War, she was the soldier who died trying to protect Amy & Baby River along with the Vastra crew.
