UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE: Doctor Who Season 8 Episode 8 REACTION!

When Clara says "I love you " in this episode she's staring at the doctor when she does. Jenna and Moffat have confirmed that she was in fact saying "I love you " to the doctor in that scene. Sorry if the comment is a bit late, only recently discovered your content and it seems I have quite a bit to get through!

Easily one of my favorites in the Capaldi run, and as someone who loves the Doctor/Clara fallout scene from the end of 8x07 (not the episode just that epic argument), I love Mummy for being an important part of the real emotional arc of this season -- Clara learning to understand the nature and perspective of this Doctor.

Murder on the Orient Express. I do love how Who puts a Scifi spin on Agatha Christie books!! Perkins needs to return. Frank Skinner is a huge Whovian. The show always shines when the actor knows the stories since childhood. Capaldi is also my favorite Doctor. Its so awesome to know that he won an Oscar many years back, his acting skills were definitely recognized.

The whole darker/more mysterious Doctor was beginning to be played out with the Seventh Doctor when the show got cancelled (eg in Battlefield, the Doctor was recognised by some characters as another well-known character from legend). Sadly, the cancellation in 1989 meant that it was a thought/storyline that wasn't brought to it's climax.

I really liked him in this and was hoping we'd see more of the character. Sadly hasn't happened yet.

The whole Doctor being rude thing, the idea was that the new regeneration cycle kinda rebooted him back to his more Gallifreyan self like when we originally meet the first Doctor. But as much as people say they want a darker Doctor, it wasn't well liked. They tried it once before with the sixth Doctor to pretty much the same reaction.

Suggestion: could we leave classic episodes for in between seasons, like after an xmas special or a season finale. As watching one next kinda ruins the flow of the season. I'd personally prefer that but just my opinion.

My suggestion for a Classic story to watch would have to be Genesis of the Daleks with the Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane and Harry.

I loved the run of episodes from this one onwards, this may be my favourite though. The Jelly babies are a running gag from the fourth Doctor days, you saw the seventh Doctor pondering one at the start of the TV movie. And totally agree with Genesis or The Five Doctors for the next classic.

Suggestions for Classic Who are Genesis Of The Daleks (Forth Doctor story) and/or The Five Doctors (Fifth Doctor). I'd say that Genesis is defo a classic you have to watch as it's one everyone has seen, great story for Sarah-Jane, it's a great introduction to a certain aspect of Who but I won't say which. I think a lot of other people would agree that Genesis is a great story for you to watch as well

Oh and the Perkins is played by Stand of Comedian Frank Skinner. Much like Capaldi he is a life long fan of the show and has wanted to be on for years.

Hahah omg Daryl you are so right. I like Martha too. Definitely should’ve - she’s the only one who got a perfectly fine ending too. (Not in a parallel universe, memory wiped, or sent back in time and died)
