I love how ballsy they were even naming Missy 'Missy'... looking back it's so obvious she's the master, including her flamboyant performance. Michelle Gomez is absolutely outrageously good in the role.

I LOVE the nod in this episode to Capaldi's most famous persona, the extremely sweary, hilarious, and surprisingly sad Malcolm Tucker (who was also in the government, hence the swearing in the government ID on the psychic paper)

You missed the very end of the episode - Just a tiny Snippet as Missy would say - lots of things can happen after the credits - think Black Mirror!!

WOW!! That was unexpected. In the sky diving "permission to squeal" moment & TARDIS pops up from the clouds there was a difference to the theatrical cut. NEVER seen that "Doctor In the TARDIS" mini scene before & it threw me!! Couple of lines of dialogue to Danny has been cut too. Not significant one's just Clara fiddling with the inhibitor. In all this I wonder who thought an international audience should get a "Doctor In the TARDIS scene" ? I'm baffled!! 🤔

What Clara did was wrong.She knows it.You know it.I know it. But I think it happened not because of how much she loved Danny.She loved Danny,but it wasn't a great love.Not 'Amy and Rory' type of love.She did it because of the all guilt she felt.She lied to him so many times and when she decided to stop and be a better person...this happened. "He deserved better". This is just the truth and this is what Clara thought.But I still think she should have just simply ask the Doctor.I guess,because of the Doctor's cold attitude towards Danny,she thought he wouldn't help.

Some people thought Missy was another old enemy called the Rani. Some thought Romana who was trapped in E-Space. I thought the Rani. Closer and closer to the reveal I thought they wouldn't and then they did. Very ballsy of Moffat. I love Missy! Err Mistress. I mean the Master.

He didn’t notice how the doors were cyberman eyes and the cyberman theme started playing as soon as the doors closed after he paused it!!!

one of my all time favourite capaldi lines is "do you think i care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?" and just the way he says it... man, what an episode (and even though i was mad at clara, she was in a really bad emotional state at that moment so it's understandable and i, like the doctor, forgave her)

I have no problem with the Doctor’s forgiving heart being bigger on the inside. I was blown away when Missy revealed herself to be the Master. I did not see that coming.

I don't know how healthy it is to define love as 'impervious to betrayal'. I think it's very reasonable to lose love for someone who does you dirty.

The Cybermen marching down the steps of St Paul's Cathedral is a nice callback to the classic shot from The Invasion, the Second Doctor serial also featuring the Cybermen. 🙂

Ive watched so many reactors watch this series and every time when the lift doors close with the cyberman eyes on them and the cyberman theme plays not a single one has the light bulb moment lol.

My previous comment was deleted (twice lol).But here I am again. It's kind of funny how everyone was and still are mad at Clara.(Well,not funny for me,Clara is my favourite.)But not the Doctor. This is what Moffat said: “I loved the scene. The acting is extraordinary and that is what I think has powered this series. I’m also proud of a line – I’m very rarely proud of anything I write – but I’m proud of the line ‘Do you think I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?’ because I got obsessed when I started to write this that Cybermen have no emotion, so it starts with Clara unable to find a way to say I love you and ends with Danny unable to find a way to say I love you, there are two phone calls that book-end it, and in the middle, the cracked old Caledonian gets it exactly right, he says I love you perfectly. […] He’s surprised he has to say it. That’s the truth about him, he says lots of horrible things all the time, that’s because he assumes all the other stuff is taken for granted and it’s only in that moment Clara realises just how much he’s assuming is taken for granted, absolute monomaniacal devotion to her. He absolutely loves her.”

ah, finally. objectively the best recurring doctor who monster.

The reveal was a let down for me, it had been speculated loads but assumed it wouldn't be, then it actually was. Same thing happened to a degree with River too. I tend to stay off the internet during seasons now and just let it all happen. 🙂
