Where is the first part of this season finally? Episode 11. Did you do a reaction to that one? Can’t seem to find it on here.

I do like this episode a lot, particularly Missy. But there is something just amiss with certain elements. Maybe it's just the RTD was all about giving you the feels and Moffatt is more about clever plot, but both Osgood and Danny's deaths felt like they would have had me bawling my eyes out in RTD era, but both felt a little hollow now. Particularly Danny considering he'd been in so many episodes along the way.

If you're going for another classic who episode during the mid-seasons break I'd definitely recommend Caves of Androzani, it features a Doctor you haven't seen, a companion you haven't seen, and is widely considered one of the best stories in history.

I simply see it as a change in the timeline. If everything that is in the present stays the same the future parallel is Orson Pink but as the present changed the future becomes affected by the present namely Danny dies. Time travel theory is a bitch though 😂

The scene with Unit and the Cybermen at the start is Cardiff too (they edited in a shot of St Pauls) It's just around the corner from where the final scene was shot.

The future Danny storyline works because..... time can change ;) The easy explanation for me is they just changed the timeline and now that future is different, cause that can happen.

Regarding your question about Orson Pink from "Listen", Moffat talked about it in an interview once: “I can think of several explanations, but the obvious one is that Orson comes from another branch of the family. He knows about Danny’s heroic sacrifice, because Clara got in touch with the Pink family after the events of Death in Heaven (because you would, wouldn’t you?), and told them what he did, and why. And she gave them the little soldier, as a keepsake of a great man and a great soldier – and because she knows the toy soldier has to remain in the Pink family line. Now all that strikes me as pretty inevitable – that’s what would have happened – but I’m not saying it’s right. Nothing is actual till it’s in the show. Knowing how the season would end, we were careful, in never to define exactly what the connection was.”

Nice to see my home town of Cardiff at the end there. For some reason they keep pretending to be in London, but as I, and most people in the country know, it's clearly Cardiff.

The Cyberman was The Brigadier - Kate's Dad. You're bound to meet him sooner or later in your journey through Classic Who - he was a fundamentally important part of it! And,yes....you missed an important scene after the end credits :(

I think the reason that this season doesn't seem as long as some of the older ones, is that some of the episodes were kind of forgettable

I swear there's a couple of lines added/changed from the UK transmission. Don't remember the "Doctor in the TARDIS" after the skydive into it. There was something else that seemed different, can't remember what though. Noticed it a few times on some of these episodes, especially "The Eleventh Hour".

You didn't notice they credited Jenna first and had her eyes in the opening titles. Loved this when it first aired and was hoping somehow it was true, even though fairly impossible, it would've needed some major crazy writing to pull off. 🙂
