Where is the first part of this season finally? Episode 11. Did you do a reaction to that one? Can’t seem to find it on here.

2020-01-07 01:30:57 +0000 UTCI do like this episode a lot, particularly Missy. But there is something just amiss with certain elements. Maybe it's just the RTD was all about giving you the feels and Moffatt is more about clever plot, but both Osgood and Danny's deaths felt like they would have had me bawling my eyes out in RTD era, but both felt a little hollow now. Particularly Danny considering he'd been in so many episodes along the way.

2019-12-28 19:34:49 +0000 UTCIf you're going for another classic who episode during the mid-seasons break I'd definitely recommend Caves of Androzani, it features a Doctor you haven't seen, a companion you haven't seen, and is widely considered one of the best stories in history.
2019-08-19 09:42:27 +0000 UTCExactly. Your past runs parallel with your future but if your past changes then so does your future.

2019-08-17 01:39:02 +0000 UTCMe too. Prob with Patreon??

2019-08-17 01:37:15 +0000 UTCI simply see it as a change in the timeline. If everything that is in the present stays the same the future parallel is Orson Pink but as the present changed the future becomes affected by the present namely Danny dies. Time travel theory is a bitch though 😂

2019-08-17 01:20:39 +0000 UTCYeah he missed the credits however let's be honest it is spoilery and it would take away from the next reaction. I'm actually glad it's been missed!!

2019-08-17 01:16:17 +0000 UTCWatch after credits please.

2019-08-17 00:55:02 +0000 UTCYou missed the end of the episode again!!!

2019-08-16 19:59:01 +0000 UTCIt is so lovely to see how polite you are to your family. It is so refreshing and they must be very proud to have raised such a wonderful son. Your reactions are absolutely charming and a total joy.

2019-08-16 19:40:16 +0000 UTCThey'd already said goodbye to him in one of Matt Smith's finales, I forget the name. Bringing him back as a Cyberman just felt wrong.

2019-08-16 18:34:22 +0000 UTCThey included Kate Stewart's father in this episode as a tribute because the actor that played him had recently died.

2019-08-16 18:01:00 +0000 UTCThe scene with Unit and the Cybermen at the start is Cardiff too (they edited in a shot of St Pauls) It's just around the corner from where the final scene was shot.

2019-08-16 17:15:36 +0000 UTCIt's nothing special really, just a glorified Next Time.

2019-08-16 17:14:03 +0000 UTCThe future Danny storyline works because..... time can change ;) The easy explanation for me is they just changed the timeline and now that future is different, cause that can happen.

2019-08-16 17:11:27 +0000 UTCYou cut off the end credits too early
I have no name
2019-08-16 16:38:31 +0000 UTC*sigh* why do some of my comments keep disappearing?
2019-08-16 16:02:20 +0000 UTCRegarding your question about Orson Pink from "Listen", Moffat talked about it in an interview once: “I can think of several explanations, but the obvious one is that Orson comes from another branch of the family. He knows about Danny’s heroic sacrifice, because Clara got in touch with the Pink family after the events of Death in Heaven (because you would, wouldn’t you?), and told them what he did, and why. And she gave them the little soldier, as a keepsake of a great man and a great soldier – and because she knows the toy soldier has to remain in the Pink family line. Now all that strikes me as pretty inevitable – that’s what would have happened – but I’m not saying it’s right. Nothing is actual till it’s in the show. Knowing how the season would end, we were careful, in never to define exactly what the connection was.”

2019-08-16 14:47:31 +0000 UTCNice to see my home town of Cardiff at the end there. For some reason they keep pretending to be in London, but as I, and most people in the country know, it's clearly Cardiff.
2019-08-16 13:32:37 +0000 UTCThe Cyberman was The Brigadier - Kate's Dad. You're bound to meet him sooner or later in your journey through Classic Who - he was a fundamentally important part of it! And,yes....you missed an important scene after the end credits :(
Ian Smith
2019-08-16 13:16:56 +0000 UTCYeah, I noticed that to.

2019-08-16 12:08:31 +0000 UTCDude you missed a scene in the credits
Alex James
2019-08-16 11:22:36 +0000 UTCI think the reason that this season doesn't seem as long as some of the older ones, is that some of the episodes were kind of forgettable

2019-08-16 11:10:30 +0000 UTCFailwhale is in for a treat with season 9!

2019-08-16 10:35:45 +0000 UTCThe credit scene was good. Should watch it with us just before the next episode. 🙂
Mr K
2019-08-16 10:20:11 +0000 UTCI swear there's a couple of lines added/changed from the UK transmission. Don't remember the "Doctor in the TARDIS" after the skydive into it. There was something else that seemed different, can't remember what though. Noticed it a few times on some of these episodes, especially "The Eleventh Hour".
Mr K
2019-08-16 10:04:30 +0000 UTCYou didn't notice they credited Jenna first and had her eyes in the opening titles. Loved this when it first aired and was hoping somehow it was true, even though fairly impossible, it would've needed some major crazy writing to pull off. 🙂
Mr K
2019-08-16 09:09:11 +0000 UTCThere's an additional scene half way through the closing credits which you missed. It leads into the Christmas special.
