Subtitles are subjective, sometimes subbed is better, that's just a fact. There are a number of anime out there where the dubbed voices are just atrocious, or completely ruin the original ideas through censorship. But sometimes dubbed is better, I much prefer dubbed FMAB and DBS /DBZ voices

If you are talking about the subtitles on the actual Doctor Who ep then its for everyone as Failwhale couldn't fix it. If you mean it is giving subtitles on what Failwhale is saying then its just you. Hope I helped

Id say this is a prime example of why i dont agree with the anime purists. subtitles spoil the scenes. we dont notice how much it ruins it cause we dont know the language being subbed. english dubbs have gotten good enough now that im over watching subbed anime

not sure what video player you use but theres a few ways videos are subtitled. some are hard coded into the video so cant do much about that. other times the subtitles will be a seperate file in the video folder that loads with the video you can just delet that file and they will be gone. other videos have subtitle tracks embedded in them and on the player like for me i use VLC player i can just right click the video goto the subtitles drop down and disable them

From what I've read,the story was indeed originally intended to end with 'old Clara'; but Jenna Coleman had a change of heart and the new ending was added.

god i loved this special so much! one of my favourites, alongside the next one :) and that part when the doctor genuinely doesn't see the difference in clara and when she asks "am i young?'' and he replies with "no idea" always makes me cry - no matter how old they're gonna be, the doctor will still see his companions as they always were. what an incredibly touching idea that is <3
