This is my first time watching Series 9 and HOT DAMN. I've heard the next one is really up there for many people as well, so very much looking forward to watching it with (sorta) you guys!

Man, watching this again I feel so bad for Rigsy too. He must've felt so guilty. Apparently, there were scenes shot where Rigsy took Clara's body back to her family and told the school that she'd died. No... I'm not crying. You're crying. I was holding out hope till the last second that Clara would be saved. Why did she have try to be so clever? If she just did nothing it would have worked out. I always thought Rigsy should have been a companion. Well he was Clara's companion briefly. Where do we go from here? The finale and the Christmas special for season 9. OMG the feels. That's all I'm gonna say for now.

The thing that annoys me the most about the episode is that, while it says that it's set in London, I can clearly see that it's set in my home city of Cardiff lmao

I don't think the Doctor appreciated Clara more than others. It's undebatable that THIS Doctor appreciated Clara more than the others. Sure she was the Impossible Girl and went all over his timeline, but that was simply to counter the Great Intelligence, who did the same thing. The GI wasn't even a top 10 Who villain. Clara and 12 is my favourite companion/Doctor pairing though, and her loss was terrible.

Ive seen this episode hundreds of times and Ive seen people react to it and I still manage to cry. 12 is my doctor and always will be. Capaldi's performance never fails because he's just brillant as the Doctor.

I remember when this aired, I was sitting g there watching this ok episode of Who and *bang* Clara was dead. It literally left me stunned and confused about what I had seen, haha. I didn't know how to feel really. What an awesome (in a sad) and shocking farewell to Clara.

This episode always tugs at my heartstrings man.. I never loved Clara like I loved other companions but she deserved better :(( But yes, it's debatable wether or not the Doctor appreciated Clara more than other companions bc I feel the same way about Donna. Also your dad is so cute! The next episode is one of my all time favorite episodes of Dr Who ever, can't wait to watch!

When this hit a lot of us were floored. We were totally not expecting it like this in this episode. I mean Amy and rory were lost in episode 5 but we still expect the big episodes to be at the season end. It was so hard to watch this when it first aired lol.

Capaldi’s performance is just incredible this whole season but the next episode, Heaven Sent, he takes it to a whole other level. That episode is probably my favorite doctor who episode ever. I can’t wait for you to react to it!

I just adore this entire season. I cry so much every time I watch my favorite character die. I‘m so glad you took notice of her borderline suicidal tendencies.. I really think she was written wonderfully. And you‘re totally right about her being the most valuable to the Doctor. I loved them together, no other doctor/companion team can top them for me.

I wanted to point out there was an after credit scene at the end, worth going back for.

I feel it was fitting that Clara met her end the way that she did - she had always come across as being so important (The Impossible Girl,and all that) that she eventually became too overconfident and brought about her own death as a result. I was enjoying your reaction;then your Dad came to check up on you,and I enjoyed it even more!
