I always felt in the minority,for some reason, with loving this season, Bill and Nardole. I'm glad to see there are so many fans of season 10! I really especially like Bill a whole lot. Excited for these reactions.

I love how Heather luring her to travel with her was basically exactly what The Doctor does with his companions and did with Bill at the end.

The section with the Dalek was an introduction for Bill that they showed in the UK before the show returned (not sure if they showed it outside UK?) Moffat wasn't intending to use it in the episode originally.

Finally season 10! Possibly my favourite season and second favourite TARDIS team from the new series. Loved seeing Susan. Peter Capaldi said a few times he'd like her back. One wish he didn't get, sadly. Classic sonic was great to see and the Movellans! I love them, they're from my first Dalek story. Really wanted more from them. 🙂

Having recently completed Series 10, I honestly think it's one of the best seasons of Doctor Who and my personal favourite from the Moffat era. I think it's much better than Series 8 and 9. It just feels so refreshing and compelling. Bill is also such a delight. I can't wait to see you react to all of it.

This season is by far my all-time favorite season of Who. Capaldi, Bill, and Nardole make a helluva team and I've enjoyed every single episode (especially the last two, cannot WAIT to relive them with you). Next to Donna, Bill is my favorite one-season companion. You, my friend, are in for a treat. This season ROCKS.

I've been travelling with the Doctor for 40 years and Twelve was the only one I had difficulty adjusting to. Seasons 8 and 9 just didn't do it for me. For me, Peter Capaldi became the Doctor in Season 10. His relationship with Bill is excellent and I can't wait to see you react to this season.

Yesss! been waiting for this! You're in for a damn good ride with this one! I agree that this was a good premier, somehow reminded me of s01e01. And speaking of, when you mentioned she reminded you of Rose, that was my exact first thought when I first saw it. And she also reminded me of Donna a little. I just love Bill! she's such a breath of fresh air and so pure, full of wonder with all of the questions. Her introduction to the Tardis is probably my fav of all companions combined. "It's like a kitchen!" her character has this RTD era likeness that I really love.

Question, would you consider doing reactions to some Doctor who fan edits out there on youtube. There's some really damn amazing ones, some focusing on specific Doctors, companions or just themes across the series. I'm sure there's a bunch of us who can recommend the best of them. Most of them are best saved until the end of this season at the very least.

This season impressed me a lot more than I expected. It's a show. and so it has a lot of room for failure, but this one was more success than failure. I return to it, in my ruminations, more than I thought I would when it premiered.

Even though it took awhile, I still can't believe that you're ahead of Blind Wave in terms of episodes (if only by one or two). Great reaction and episode.

This is probably my favourite series of New Who. No spoilers,but Moffat gives it a pleasing shape overall (as you'll see). Bill is certainly my favourite companion of the New Series - she's delightful and warm;and her Doctor/Companion relationship is,imo,really effective. The plot of this episode is serviceable;and the little Old School callbacks are charming.

At this point Steven Moffat had announced his intention to step down as Showrunner & this was his last series of Who (as was Dr Mysterio was his last xmas ep) This was Moffat deliberately resetting Doctor Who for brand new viewers with an episode ironically enough titled "Pilot" like most first episodes of any series. It's fresh & different to what has come before. Bill is also named after William Hartnell in a nice nod to Who history

For super-fans of Classic Who, those were the Morvellans fighting the Daleks from an old Classic story. They were an android race that were at a stalemate with the Daleks. So, not quite the Time War, but rather an intergalactic war that lasted for centuries.

"If it's the Doctor, it's creepy. If it's the monster... it's also creepy. I feel like it's half Twelve in a towel and half the monster." Never seen this scene get that response before 😂 I also love that your response to the water seeping under the door of the Doctor's office is like, "Dammit you're ruining a good floor."
