I pretty much always skip this one, personally. But I can't really think of too many other "meh" episodes beyond this one! I'm definitely excited for some upcoming ones. They're definitely trying to find their footing a good chunk of the 1st season, like most shows, but they find it soon. :)

2020-02-16 15:42:11 +0000 UTCI agree, they really do improve as they go on. I missed this one the first time around and saw it later during a rewatch binge. Felt very out of place. Three Wizard of Oz refs in the first 10 mins in this one. Lol

2020-02-16 06:39:41 +0000 UTCI just noticed that the composer straight up recycled David Arnold's main theme from Independence Day at the end there as they were leaving the planet to their own new found independence. Poetic now that I think about it especially as David Arnold wrote the music for the original Stargate film which the new composer draws from. (Sorry never noticed it before and thought it was worth mentioning)
