UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE; Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 2 Episode 13 REACTION!

That ring is actually a traditional Irish ring lol it's called a claddagh ring (pronounced kla-dah). I thought it was a really nice touch seein as Angel is Irish.

I watched Buffy when it originally aired. It started out on Monday nights on the WB. At this point they were moving the show to "The New Tuesday" on the WB. So, Joss wrote in this massive cliffhanger specifically so people would be inclined to follow the show from Monday nights to Tuesday nights to find out what happened. No DVR back then, lol.

Great reaction. This episode, as well as the next one, have always been some of my favourites. This is where the show really kicked off and went from being good to great. I absolutely love Dru. She's evil, funny, insane, yet also has a childlike quality. I can't wait for the next episode's reaction.

First and foremost, WHO SPOILED WILLOW'S S3 UNDERCOVER ALIAS BACKSTORY?!?!! C'mon guys, not cool. 😂 Loved this reaction. Surprise is one of the best episodes of the season for sure, imho, and probably one of the best set-up episodes for a two-parter in Buffy history, so I'm thrilled you liked it, but I come at the whole "Angel and Buffy's seizing of the day" from a different angle than you did, I think. Which is: They're never not going to be in danger; there's always going to be something new to fight or research or be on guard against, and they both grabbed onto this one moment because they could, you know? The Judge was built, that was done and they had no way to fight him yet, they had vampires out searching for them, and the reality of how close they both came to dying, and/or seeing each other die, hit them hard. Ergo, seizing. Lol. So, personally, I really love how the show did that; it felt like a more natural progression of events than some of the Buffy/Angel plot points earlier in the season. Again, great reaction! I see I'm not the only one foaming at the mouth over seeing your reaction to the next episode (probably just something you should expect for two parters lolol). Can't wait!

This is a REALLY dense episode. Just so much going on. Loved your breakdown at the end. Like you said, it's really neat to see the Dru and Spike dynamic reversed and the twist with Miss Calender is really interesting. Dru is also a standout for me in this episode. She's back to full strength and more energetic, but still has that sort of wild chaotic energy she has in the earlier episodes. One of those characters I'm always excited to see.
