I don't think Jonas knew but like what's been said he knew something was up with Isak and waited for him to come to him, never pushed him but offered to be there when he wanted to talk. So I don't think he was surprised, because Isak lied and blew them off then this new guy says he forgot Isaks snapback that day Isak lied. Jonas said it was his own snapback, while Isak was stunned by the situation, Isak was still wearing Jonas' snapback when they said goodbye that Friday so he didn't forget it at school. Isak then lies about a pre-party and is making poor excuses again. The coming out scene got so much attention and people were shocked and amazed at how casual it was, and I think that says a lot about society. This is the way it should be done and I truly believe this scene has helped many and also has been a tool and guidance in how to react. And I know they're only 17 but 1/5 of Norway did watch it and it didn't only help teenagers, it has also helped old people to find currage to come out. And the fact that Tarjei (Isak) has said people have stopped him to say they're not homophobes anymore after watching, is pretty remarkable too. It's a drama show about teenagers and their every day problems but Skam really changed people's perceptions and attitudes, no matter teenager or 50 year old. And it's just a fantastic scene in itself! You're amazing, man! Can't wait for episode 7! :D

Jonas 💕 the more I think about it- it doesn’t matter if he knew before hand or not, what matters is his boy was struggling and being distant and opened up to him loved him /helped him without and sorta questions anything. Such a dope scene

2018-06-01 17:21:36 +0000 UTCI don’t think Jonas knew that Isak likes boys. He just sensed that Isak was going through something and withdrawing. And getting a bit short with him for not trusting him enough to tell him. At leat, that’s how I read the scene by the lockers. And as Nui says, his reaction is based on a true story. And should be made mandatory viewing for all high school kids imo.

2018-06-01 04:09:23 +0000 UTCSo its kind of subtle, but Isak has a pretty strong prejudice against anything related to mental health. Because his mom is struggling with some sort of mental illness (we don't know exactly what it is, just that she's "crazy") and he has seen how it has negatively affected his life, he is scared to admit that he might be struggling with things. That's why he had such a strong reaction to the doctor telling him he might want to go to a clinic to talk to a therapist, and why its so significant that he finally decided to reach out to Jonas.
2018-06-01 00:16:38 +0000 UTCDo we get an extra episode this week? heehee
