Bella don't apologize for long posts I LOVE reading ya'll comments (sometimes im late sorry haha) but yeaah, Magnus this episode was top notch, we've seen him being goofy and somewhat ignorant to a degree earlier this season but ppl are complex and it was awesome to see him help isak and shine some light for him on the bipolar discussion :) and THE LYRICS! YOO. didn't take that in. I agree, acting this season is probably the best in the series (might be need to see season 4 and think harder about season 2). The one line of dialogue... you are note alone. Beautiful.

2018-06-14 16:38:44 +0000 UTCexactly that was a solid song selection that carried the scene along with the great acting of course and tense-ness to the scene. The suicide note had me on the edge too, glad he's good tho

2018-06-14 16:35:58 +0000 UTCthat's so true! I noticed some of them of just off behavioural things but the school point is true too

2018-06-14 16:34:39 +0000 UTCI have sooo many things to say I don’t even. First of all, Magnus is my hero here. He normalises bipolar so efficiently with his “She’s not crazy, she’s bipolar.” Bam! No more discussion. Beautiful! They texted a bit before Isak tried to call Even, and Magnus gave some great advice. Even is texting him the lyrics to Cherry Wine by NAS. And Isak’s mother is replying to his coming out text from the last episode. She is very religious and possibly schizophrenic? And it’s obvious how difficult this has been for Isak. That’s why he tears up at her sweet text. I think the scene with Isak on the phone with his dad is so impressive. Tarjei acting against a voice on a phone. And he was only 17! Unbelievable! And the final scene. We were led to believe that the Friday clip would be up to 20 minutes long but when we realised it would be only seven minutes, lots of people were disappointed. Beforehand. Needlessly so. Because that was the most impressive 7 minutes of tv ever to be made in Norway. And with only one line of dialogue. Julie has said that Isak - and we - were meant to believe it was a suicide note. If Even meant it so, we will never know. And again, the acting from these young boys... All the light has left Even. Only dread and regret is left. 18 months later and it still makes me tear up. 😭 Sorry for the long post. I’ll shut up now. 😘

2018-06-13 20:54:55 +0000 UTCThe first thing I did when the music started was grab a tissue. That ending always get to me. It's amazing that they can portray so much with barely any words. I thought the text was a suicide note too. I'm so glad it turned out this way instead.

2018-06-13 00:07:53 +0000 UTCIsak sent message to his mom in the last episode, being afraid that she would reject him. Instead her reply came at the right time when he needed it the most. She told him she has loved him since he was born at 21:21 on 21st of June, and will always love him.

2018-06-13 00:05:13 +0000 UTCIsak is searching for info on wiki about manic episode/ bipolar. There are so many signs that pinpointed Even’s behaviour: overuse money, not able to sleep that much, had some idea that seemed to be difficult to be implemented, and so on. He has been on manic episodes many times before, and went directly to his depression periods. That was why he was away from school so often.

2018-06-12 23:58:54 +0000 UTCHonestly, that's a thought that was going through my mind as well... I didn't say it though because I wasn't 1000% sure or not. I think if that happened I would be destroyed... this season ESPECIALLY the last few have been just incredible storywise and filming. Julie is the GOAT.

2018-06-12 23:58:44 +0000 UTCThe song at the beginning is ‘Hjernen er alene’ or roughly translated as ‘ The brain is alone’. Remember when Even talked about this in E5? He said he couldn’t escape his thoughts, He was still in his manic episode when he sent the lyrics of Cherry Wine by Nash to Isak, trying to reach out to him.

2018-06-12 23:46:03 +0000 UTCA lot of people thought that SMS from Even was a suicidale sms. I screamed to my phone from he got the SMS. Run Isak, Run! And when he was not on the bench I thought he was dead. Ny heart stoped! All this first clips Isak see in his memories is when Even has talked and written things about death. So I think Isak then got afraid that Even wouldt take his own life. That first morning Isak wakes up and Even has left, Even left a drawn on Isaks pillow of Isak as «the boy who could not hold his breath under wather». And over the drawing he wrote: « I do’nt sleep, because sleep is the cousin of death», and that is one of the things Isak remember. I cry everytime I see this scen. It is so sad, but beautiful and gorgeous piece of art!❤️💚

2018-06-12 23:44:18 +0000 UTCThe contrast in Even from the previous episode to this is striking, it truely went from one end of the spectrum to the other. Briliantly portrayed.

2018-06-12 23:26:50 +0000 UTCAnd their first kiss under wather was in the 21.21 clip.
