Fira on WHIMS.
Let me introduce you the chain of events that made me select this VINTAGE UNSEEN project 5 TEAM in the first place. This obscure angry character who did a cameo on WHIMS (CAPRICHOS) is Fira, and she's the arch-nemesis of the 5 Team chicks. Fira was inspired in those kinda-robot 80's poster ladies, like the cyberchick on AUTOGRAPH's That's the Stuff record. Sort of post punk eigthies kinky lookin' with a bad attitude. Yeah!
Moreover a few years before Fira's WHIMS cameo there was two earlier versions of 5 TEAM, the first one, when I was 12/13 years old (1985/1986), called 5 TEAM, duh, with Fira trying to get the 5 Team chicks fat... and a sequel, 5 TEAM 2: Revenge of Fira (1988), where the powers of Fira included not only fattening but height-growing.
Then we have the 5 TEAM per se: team leader Karina McCurtis, Mikaela Zerblost, the twins Randy & Mandy and Betty Orellanos. Not to forget the Doctor Sandra P. Smith. All of them inspired in the 80s sportwear look ads, as seen on magazines or tv.
A never developed upgraded sequel.
And all this info to present the last version of 5 TEAM ever made, circa 1995, and simply called 5 TEAM, but clearly the ultimate sequel.
The story revolves around -a now fat- Fira trying to make this entire female world (where there are no men) FAT as well, but also taking things as a personal vendetta for her past failures due to 5 TEAM's interventions.
