Dhalsim felt the full force of Chun-Li's kick as she connected with his head; he moved with the impact, absorbing its force with some ease thanks to his superhuman flexibility. He sighed and raised a hand to stop his sparring partner.

Chun-Li was slightly taken aback, had she hit him too hard? Had she actually hurt him? She nonetheless backed off, hanging off what Dhalsim had to say.

'Chun-Li...'  He began, straightening up to strike an almost regal pose. 'You want to know why I stopped this sparring session, do you not?' He queried, but the tone of his voice said he knew.

'You want to know my opinion, my advice... You are in need of guidance, but you approach this like a newly trained student, rather than an experienced master of your arts.'

His words were harsh, but accurate; Chun-Li didn't know what to say. Dhalsim continued: 'Your kick just then was all you have, was it not?' She grimaced, he'd seen through her. 'It would seem that your strength and dexterity was not allthat Juri took when she broke you.'

Those words, the mention of that name... it made Chun-Li shiver, even as she pictured Juri's grinning, sadistic face and remembered how the woman decked out in purple leather had broken her in ways she still couldn't even stomach.

She barely even noticed Dhalsim's sigh at her glazed expression, but she snapped out of it as he turned away and began walking. 'Wait!'She stepped forwards, but he kept moving, 'Where are you going?!'

'I must attend the S.I.N. Tournament; you are in no fit state to take part, so you must stay here.' He instructed with determination in his voice. 'My sister... Jairani.' He introduced her to a figure who had silently entered the room.

'She is a healer and a trusted spiritual leader to my people.' He looked back over his shoulder as he reached the door, 'She can do more for you now than I can.' He left with that harsh reality-check and for a few moments there was only silence to accompany Chun-Li's depression.

'So I'm nothing more than a charity case now...' She muttered under her breath, mentally broken as much as physically. There wasn't a moment went by that she didn't feel the pain; from head-to-toe she ached even now that she was back on her feet after all those weeks of rehabilitation.

'Oh my...' Dhalsim's sister responded as she stepped forwards, 'You arerather down in the dumps, aren't you?' She asked rather light-heartedly. Chun-Li took a good long look at her as she approached.

She was much like Dhalsim, her attire clearly belonging to the same sense of fashion while her figure was stick-thin, just like his. She had a completely different aura about her though and Chun-Li's one remaining strength let her feel how the brother had inherited most of the Ki at the sister's expense.

'Have I not a right to be?' Chun-Li asked, turning the other cheek with a huff, 'Perhaps it is not obvious, but I am barely being held together by a tapestry of metal, screws and pins...' She grimaced in pain, her final kick had taken all she had and now she was reallyhurting!

'Oh, I know!' The healer responded off-handedly, 'You got beaten up by that girl, now what was her name...?' Jairani asked, but clearly seemed like she knew.

'Was it... Muri?' She looked at Chun-Li, whose expression was deadpan but almost disgusted. 'Duri?' No change, 'Juri?'Chun-Li shivered and felt this other woman's eyes burn into her as she watched Chun-Li's terrified reaction. 'Got it!' She exclaimed with a sense of achievement.

'Wha?' The Chinese fighter snapped out of her fearful mindset in response to this supposed healer's joyat making her squirm.

'Who else, but the woman who snapped your bones like twigs...' Chun-Li froze in fear.

'-who burst your organs like balloons...' Jairani continued, making her audience shiver, eyes as wide as saucers like she were living through the trauma all over again.

'-the one who put you in the hospital and took your entire life from you!' She pushed just a little further and got the full reaction she wanted.

'MRUAAAAAAARGH!'Chun-Li wailed, grabbing her head in anguish as she relived it in full detail, falling to her heavily repaired knees in despair.

'There.' Jairani concluded, 'That'swhere we need to begin!' She concluded, stood over the floored fighter and offering a hand. Shakily, Chun-Li released herself and looked to the slender, outstretched hand.

'Trust me.' The guru insisted, 'My brother is too idealogical to help you, even if he understands.' Chun-Li looked up into the younger Indian's playful eyes. She reached out a quivering hand and took up the offer.

'A-Alright... I can't go on like this!' She admitted, she'd been made to understand her predicament and while she hated it, she accepted it. 'Please help me!'

'But of course!' Jairani smiled, 'But you have a lot to learn both to heal from this and to make sure it never happens again!' There was something in her eyes, a passion to what she planned that Chun-Li didn't yet understand.

'HYA!'Chun-Li cried as she thrust yet another high kick at Jairani's head. She missed as the relatively underpowered sister of Dhalsin somehow evaded; Chun-Li didn't understand how she kept dodging!

'You missed.' Jairani almost purred as she grabbed Chun-Li's raised thigh from behind; her hand grew as if her forearm was elastic until her fingers slid between Chun-Li's thighs.

The Chinese fighter turned beet red and slammed her thigh back down to close her legs as she span to face Jairani; she looked down as she still felt fingers between her thigh-gap, the woman's fingers tickling down there even with her arm bent around behind Chun-Li.

'What are you-' She tried to argue but Jairani stretched forwards, her neck elongating until they were almost touching.

'You missed because you're afraid!' The surprising character insisted to interrupt Chun-Li's thought process. With a twitch of her arm, Jairani condensed her hand to slip out of Chun-Li's vice-like grip and whip her arm back into its proper shape.

'That doesn't mean you can just...' She was still blushing, '-touch melike that!' She said without much confidence, only for a hand to suddenly grab her around the chin; Jairani's fingers elongated to wrap all the way over her head as she gently tugged Chun-Li closer.

'Do you think Juriwould stop?' She asked pointedly and watched Chun-Li's face light up with fear; she was suddenly snapped out of it with a kiss.

'BWAH!'Chun-Li protested as she flailed away, 'What is the meaningof this?!' She demanded, staring daggers into her so-called healer.

'You're afraid of power.' Jairani simply stated, 'You know you could overpower me or just about anyone...but you're afraid of what you're capable of!' The guru explained, slowly stepping back. 'She's not and that's why she was able to beat you!'

'W-Wha?! NO!'Chun-Li responded definitively, 'She beat mebecause she was strongerthan me!' She insisted, confident in her posture, 'Now will you help meor not?'

'As a non-professional fighter?' Jiraiya asked, spinning away and swaggering across the Dojo mat. 'I can't teach you to throw a better punch, but I can teach you how to do it with intent!' She answered with a wink over her shoulder.

'Fine! But no moregroping!' Chun-Li hadn't even realised that the mere act had distracted her from her fears and hang-ups, but Jairani smirked nonetheless.

'Then stop me!'She challenged and threw an arm out that grew like a rocket across the divide; Chun-Li saw the grabby fingers coming her way and snatched Jairani's wrist out of the air.

'Fine!' She scowled, but was so pre-occupied that she failed to see the woman use her arm like a bungee-chord and drag herself towards Chun-Li. By the time she realised, Jairani's limbs were flailed as if about to grab Chun-Li with her whole body! 'HUH?!'

She flailed, but found the gifted shape-shifter coil around her, clinging on and wrapping every limb around her like a snake coiling up its prey. 'GYAH!'Chun-Li protested as she flailed and grabbed at any part of Jairani she could reach, but the Indian fighter constricted her further.

'How can I beat youso easily?' Jairani asked as she tightened to make Chun-Li wail just a little as they tumbled to the ground. Her bendy body began to caress the helpless Chinese Kempo master as Jairani purred over her victory.

'I'm not stronger than you...' She continued her assault by nuzzling the restrained fighter, 'My Ki is nothingon yours...' She continued, watching Chun-Li's expression of pain turn to one of slight enjoyment for the first time since they'd met.

'Maybe...' She growled sensually, 'I just want something and I believe that I'll get it.' She explained, 'While you... You're still scared!'Jairani lessened her grip and slipped all her limbs back into place to sit across Chun-Li's hips, hands still pressed onto her bosom.

'Sc-scared?' She asked, bad memories creeping in again as she recognised this exact setup from her violent disassembly at the hands of Juri. 'Of my power...?' She found herself still able to speak though, progress perhaps.

'You felt itat her hands, didn't you?' Jairani asked as she leant forwards on top of her unwilling gropee.'What power can allow?'She pushed on with this logic, 'I'm not suggesting you should go out and do that to someone, just...'

'Don't be afraid of being able to...' Finally the wisdom began to hit home. 'But what if I doend up hurting someone like that?' She asked mindfully, thatthought scared her!

'Well...' Jairani stood up in an inhuman way, rippling up head-first to stand over Chun-Li. 'If your heart is in the right place, your motives are pure and your mind is clear then your conscience can be clear!' Jairani shrugged like it was obvious.

Chun-Li felt energized somehow, by all of this and tried to kip-up as she had always done in the past; her new body failed her though and she ended up on her ass, hurting.

'Of course with your body like that I'm not sure how much of anything you'll be able to accomplish...' Jairani sighed, crossing her arms. 'One job at a time.' She said to herself.

'Let me share some wisdom with you, my friend...' She offered, squatting down in a fluid manner to approach Chun-Li's eye-level.

'Something you should perhaps be familiar with, but if not... are you familiar with the Buddhist concept of Samsara?' She asked, Chun-Li was only loosely familiar. 'The infinite cycle of death and rebirth.'

'It is believed that your actions in this life determine the fate of your soul: sew the seeds of good Karma and you may be reborn rich and famous; be a force for evil and your soul may return in the body of a slug.' A simplified explanation, but close enough.

'So...' Chun-Li thought this through in combination with everything else they had spoken of. 'I am strong because I am good.' She came to a strange interpretation that made Jairani squint in surprised confusion.

'Well, no-' She tried to counter that logic, maybe redirect Chun-Li's thinking somewhere more positive.

'Those who I defeat, therefore... Those I am stronger than... Are evil!'She looked up at Jairani with a spark in her eye like she'd just had an epiphany. 'Again!' She demanded and span up to stand and adapt a fighting stance.

Jairani was forced to stagger up in response and while she didn't necessarily agree with Chun-Li's interpretation, she liked this new energy reflected in everything from her stance to her expression.

'Alright then, let's see what you've got!' She grinned, adapting a combat pose of her own.

It had been a long day of training and while Chun-Li ached in both body and mind, she was satisfied as she slumped onto her bed. More satisfied than she'd felt in as long as she could remember in fact!

The thought wouldn't leave her mind of her newfound wisdom: if she was stronger and hurtsomeone... it wasn't a failing on herpart, but theirs! It made so much sense that she wondered why she hadn't seen it sooner.

She laid on her back staring at the ceiling as these thoughts rolled round and around: if she was strongthat meant she deservedto use that strength, that she'd earned it!Of course it did...

Then again... 'Juri.' She stated, she felt the fear rise up within her and closed her eyes to shut it out, instead she found herself picturing the sadistic woman caked in skintight leather. She was sat atop her... punching down... Smashing her face in.

Chun-Li bit her lip and imagined Juri's laugh... Her glowing eye... Without thinking, Chun-Li's fear had gotten the better of her and her hand slipped under her waistband.

'She's stronger...' Chun-Li whispered, half caught between savouring the new idea of might making right and the guttural fear she had over the one person she'd ever met who could definitively beat her.

She was still scared, feeling the pain of every blow, but she was also imagining things that didn't happen, that hadn't had timeto happen. Juri had her hands on Chun-Li's tits, that hadhappened only it hadn't been Juri's doing...

Still, that tight, creaking leather and Juri's masterful power... It had Chun-Li purring as she played with herself. It didn't make any sense to be losing herself this way over the woman who put her in intensive care for over a month.

She didn't care right now, she wasn't thinking, just getting lost in the sexual moment as she panted gently, playing with her boob in her other hand as she imagined Juri standing on it, scrunching it in her powerful toes.

'~muh~'She moaned, Juri's foot on her face, demanding she lick it clean of her blood! Victorious... Laughing... Powerful- '~MUWUUUUGH!~'Chun-Li came, thrusting and riding on that high of her mindless moment of bestial bliss.

Then she came down and she began thinking again; her hand withdrew as she remembered... She remembered who she had been thinking of, what had happened, what Juri had done and she looked at her hand, dripping with her own juices.

It might as well have been blood for the psychological effect it had on her... She'd just... Her lip juddered as she looked at her dripping fingers. 'Juri...' She said the name but didn't slip into that frozen state of pure fright she'd come to know, instead her heart thumped.

'What...?' She didn't understand herself, her feelings, her emotions were all over the place so she threw herself onto her side and buried her face into a pillow. 'This is sofucked up!' She judged herself, though the forceful words were lost, muffled by the thick bedding.

There was one thing for sure, Juri was living rent-free in her head and Chun-Li was just going to have to live with that... Whether she met that purple-clad... leathery... dominant...

'NOOOO!'She screamed into the pillow, swearing and punching the bed... She hated this, but she loved it at the same time. Right now she just wanted to sleep and hoped to wake up knowing that everything was fine.

Somewhere a hidden figure was smiling wickedly.

Jairani heard the telltale sounds of training before she even reached the Dojo, snaking out her head to peek in through the door stealthily. Chun-Li was inside, her face animated with ferocity was performing a well-rehearsed Kempo Kata.

Her body was covered with beads of sweat telling of a lot of training already being under her belt this morning. 'KYA!' She exclaimed as she finished, Jairani taking that as her cue.

She clapped as she entered, 'Excellent form.' She complimented her acquaintance, approaching the edge of the mat. 'Seems someone's motivated this morning!' She smiled, proud of her achievements up to now.

'Yes...' Chun-Li responded, all business in her tone. 'I know now that I need to be stronger!' She straightened up and bowed to Jairani as she approached and did the same. 'It's as you say: I needto be unafraid!'

'Hmhmhm-' She Indian healer chuckled in that out-of-character way of hers, 'Amazing how quickly you've picked that up. Are you a natural at everything you do?' That seemed to strike a nerve, though.

Chun-Li turned her attention away and looked to her hand as she rolled her wrist and heard the series of clicks as if her hand was mounted on a ratchet. 'I was...' She felt disheartened just saying it.

'It troubles you greatly, doesn't it?' Jairani asked observantly, grabbing Chun-Li by the wrist and continuing to do as the she had and rolling her wrist; the mechanical sounds were indeed rather sickening.

'Of course... I used to begreat!' She said, but there was no conviction in her words. 'My body was anyway.'

'Mhmm...'Jairani encouraged her to continue as she released and stood back, hands on hips as Chun-Li thought it through.

'I never took full advantage of the power I was given. I wasted my potential... and Juri punished me for that!' Her eyes were glazed over again, but it was different this time; she wasn't reacting to the terror of Juri in quite the same way and Jairani seemed to pick up on that.

'Wait...' She reached out and tilted Chun-Li's head to make her look at her. 'You don't... admire her,do you?' She asked, unsure quite what to make of this. Chun-Li smiled a little.

'Admire? I'm not so sure, but you and her combinedto teach me something I needed to know long ago...' Chun-Li now grabbed Jairani by the wrist, much to the healer's shock, 'I need to usethe power I have!'

With her other hand Chun-Li gently took Jairani's hand and bent it how they both had her own wrist. No clicking, very little resistance at all and as if to answer her curiosity, she could bend Jairani's wrist right back until it touched her arm.

'Teach me this!' She demanded in a no-nonsense way. Jairani all but turned her whole wrist into melted rubber to pull her hand free as she stared into Chun-Li's eyes, witnessing her determination.

'I needthis!' She insisted, looking down her body as she grimaced and balled up both fists to a chorus of inhuman noises. 'This body is broken, a wreck... I need a new one!'

'You... need a new one?'Jairani asked, sounding every so slightly insulted. 'You think it's that easy? That you can just overcome those injuries with some hard work?'

Chun-Li's face said she wasn't interested in arguing though, 'Yes.' She stated matter-of-factly. 'Whether you think it will be easy or not, I will make it happen. Teach me, Master.' Again she demanded, this new side of Chun-Li catching the healer off-guard.

'Alright... I can see you're pretty determined, so I'd be happy to!' Jairani beamed; to Chun-Li it read as an appreciation of her skill that a fighter of such renown wished to train under her.

'OK...' The newly anointed “Master” turned away and paced slowly as she mused over it, 'You've already shown a natural skill for what you will need to understand, but you'll have to go much, muchfurther!' She stressed.

'I am willing, Master.' Chun-Li responded without a second's hesitation. Jairani paused, but didn't look back.

'I'm sure you are.' She turned to look at her, an obviously excited smile on her face, 'You want to be rid of your old, broken body and thatis important...' She explained and turned to face Chun-Li.

'Important how?' She didn't immediately understand the insinuation, but watched as Jairani raised an arm and made it ripple, her whole skinny forearm waving along its length as if it had a mind of its own.

'If you cared to maintain that form do you believe you could so readily forsake it?' She asked a pointed question.

'You have the power in your Ki to do amazing things... Deflect bullets, punch holes through walls and more. But all of that requires a dedication to your form, to maintaining yourself... For this, you have to learn to abandonyourself!'

'Of course...' Chun-Li responded, understanding the logic and raising her own hand to stare at it. 'If I am to become more, then I need to cast off what is broken!' Jairani nodded.

'Good, you understand then...' She was pleased, approaching as Chun-Li focused on her arm, forcing Ki energy into it but achieving nothing. Jairani took her arm by the wrist and elbow.

'This is going to hurt!' She warned and began to pull; her face contorted with the strain but Chun-Li felt nothing besides the tightness of her skin as it was pulled tight. 'Forsake your body!' She demanded.

The Chinese student tried to, thinking of the broken bones held together with pins and plates; she wished to be rid of them with all she had. 'FORSAKE!'Jairani demanded and Chun-Li did.

'HATE YOUR BODY!'She demanded even more exactly and Chun-Li poured her derision into her arm along with her Ki; it ached, it hurt and she hated it. 'ACCEPT THE PAIN!'She did, this was necessary, she had to!

'AAAAAEIII!'She shrieked as her arm stretched, pins dislodging and plates crumpling inside her repaired arm as she contorted in agony.

'DO NOT FIGHT IT!' Jairani demanded of her, 'THIS PAIN IS REBIRTH!'Chun-Li understood that, as she understood the concept of Samsara: a rebirth into a stronger form that she deserved, this was it!

'RAAAAAAGH!'She roared and suddenly that slight stretch became a huge shift, Jairani pulled Chun-Li's arm out like she were stretching caramel.

'YES! FEEL IT!'The Master demanded, 'WILL YOUR BODY TO BE WHAT IT IS NOT!'Chun-Li struggled though, the pain was immense, as if her body was actually being destroyed all over again.

'AS YOU WERE DESTROYED ONCE BEFORE, BE DESTROYED AND REMADE!'That, she understood. She didn't want her old body, she hated it! This new form, even stretched and screaming in pain was better than to be crippled for life!

Jairani stopped pulling, letting this level of sensation sink in as Chun-Li recovered and opened her eyes. 'Have you accepted this as your new body?' Chun-Li looked at her forearm, startled to see it was twice the length it should be!

'I- Yes! YES!'She responded with sheer determination, this was her new arm and she accepted it. 'This is who I am!' She affirmed.

'And this?'Jairani twisted her arm like she were bending bamboo and it bent along with her.

'EYAAAAAGH! YES!'Chun-Li responded, 'THIS TOO!'The bending stopped once her arm was like a 90 degree curve; Jairani released her and stepped back, leaving Chun-Li to crumple to her knees, reminded once more of the repairs all over her body.

She looked to her now malformed arm, the lumps of broken pieces meant to support her now jutting out under the skin. 'Now... Do you wish to staythis way?' The Master asked with a raised eyebrow.

'No-no!' Chun-Li grimaced, holding her banana-shaped limb with a tight grasp in her other hand.

'Can you feel it? All of it?' Jairani asked, watching Chun-Li struggle with a grunt 'Wiggle your fingers.' She tried, staring at the fingers at the end of her bent arm.

'I...' She kept trying, but there just wasn't any feeling in them.

'IS THIS YOUR BODY OR NOT?!'Jairani demanded, shaking Chun-Li out of her mindset of this being wrong or broken.

'Y...YES!'She cried out, pouring her energies into the task and finally, at length getting the feeling back as her digits twitched just a little. 'THIS IS ME!'She affirmed and balled up a fist.

'Good.' Jairani nodded, 'Now put yourself back together.' She instructed calmly and turned around.

'Wh-wha?' Chun-Li was stunned, watching as the dark-skinned woman all but abandoned her, walking towards the exit.

'You said you believe, right?' Her Master asked, looking back, 'Then make it happen.' She instructed again and walked out. Chun-Li was left alone with nothing but a twisted limb to focus on.

Still she could feel and tense her fingers; she could even, with some effort, bend her wrist, but now she had to figure out how to put herself back together again!

Did she need to restore the plates and screws? Would she be left with them sticking out like this if she didn't? She had more questions than answers, but focused on the task at hand.

It took some serious concentration, a feeling out of new areas of control she had never used before but slowly... painfully... she watched her arm begin bending back towards straight.

'NGYAH!'She strained and accelerated the process, bending it back and pulling her wrist back towards her elbow.

It was slow and it was incredibly painful, but eventually she managed; with intent and a whole lot of Ki energy she brought her arm back together and found herself looking at a vaguely human-shaped forearm once again.

Beneath the surface the bumps and deformations of broken metal and ceramic pushed beneath the underside of her skin and she was sure she was probably bleeding badly under there, but she was basically back together.

'Good job!' Jairani congratulated her, startling Chun-Li who hadn't even heard her enter. She caught a bottle of water out of the air, 'Fluids will help.' She offered helpful advice, problem is the bottle was sealed tight.

Normally that wouldn't mean a thing, but right now Chun-Li's arm was an absolute mess! She managed to summon the strength to close her hand around the cap and focused on the muscles needed to make that happen.

Clearly this was all part of Jairani's plan as the focus needed for the task helped Chun-Li properly reform her musculature and divert it where needed.

The teacher calmly sipped her own water bottle as she watched with some amusement; eventually the satisfying clicks of the bottle opening filled the air and Chun-Li sighed in relief and relaxed a little.

She slowly, purposefully unscrewed it and tossed back the water; given the effort behind it, the contents might as well have been champagne. 'Excellent!' Jairani congratulated her, 'Took me three days to do the bottle, you've got talent!'

Chun-Li looked up to her, still on her knees dealing with the sensations of all this. 'Some never even get the limb back together, I'm sure you've seen the consequences.'

Chun-Li thought of the villagers, indeed more than one had a single, decidedly disfigured limb and this would explain it. 'Those artificial bits look a bit... painfulthough!' Jairani hissed in empathy as she looked at the granola beneath the surface.

'I'll call the surgeon to help remove them-' She offered, only to be cut off by the dedicated student.

'No!'Chun-Li insisted, 'I'll remove them myself!' Jairani was shocked by the dedication and confidence but insisted.

'No, you won't! How do you plan to open up your arm? With-' She gasped, 'WHAT THE HELLLLL?!'She shrieked in horror at what she was seeing.

With her good hand, Chun-Li pushed at a large lump of metal beneath her skin; it looked as if she were trying to remove the world's biggest wasp-stinger and Jairani could see the way it made her skin contort.

'STOP!For god's sake, stop!'She didn't know what to do, afraid to touch her student as Chun-Li refused to let this be her form. She wouldn't allow it, even if that meant losing a grip on a solid form altogether!

Jairani's eyes opened in absolute amazement as the bulging lump of Chun-Li's skin parted. Not like it was being cut open, nor torn apart, it just... opened.Like water parting around a rock.

She pushed the lump of metal clear and it clattered to the floor with a telltale clanging sound. Jairani focused on the arm that had simply opened as if becoming liquid; just as easily it had closed up without a sign of it even happening!

Chun-Li hit the deck, passing out from the exertion; everything went black.

'I don't know, brother...' Jairani admitted into the phone receiver, 'She has interpreted my wisdom in peculiar ways.' She didn't admit that there was more to it than that.

In truth she'd offered curious advice and some of her methods were... unconventional; she wasn't sure why she'd resorted to these techniques, but she had and was all in on it now.

'I understand, but we have a more pressing concern.' She raised the more important issue, 'The dam continues to take our water and those military men were here demanding we give them what we have...'

She wanted to act, that was her natural inclination, but it was ultimately Dhalsim's call.

'Of course, but-' She tried to argue, 'But we are-' He wasn't listening. 'Fine... We will let them have their way and trust in pacifism.' She bit her tongue, knowing full well that people would die because of this.

'I will speak to you soon, brother. Good luck.' She hung up and sat back in her chair with a heave; the truth of Chun-Li's training weighed heavy on her mind. What would her brother make of it when he found out?

Again, she sighed until something came over her, a weightlessness as if she was being called to rise and go tend to Chun-Li. This sensation once more, she consoled herself that it was a higher power motivating her and got to work.

Chun-Li heard the ruckus before she even got close: the screeching of heavy truck tires, the scrambling of a cohort of unwelcome guests and soon shouting.

She broke into a steady jog and rounded out of the dojo complex; ahead of her she saw a scene unfolding that she was both expecting and dreading.

Chaos had broken loose and a whole host of what appeared to be military soldiers were causing a scene, intimidating villagers and aiming guns at everyone who appeared remotely threatening.

As she approached she saw what they were doing, ransacking any and all stores of fresh water! In front of the trucks, Jairani was making a stand of sorts.

It wasn't a very proactive stand, rather a typically pacifistic one, hands locked behind her back. Nonetheless her tone seemed rather agitated as she argued with the leader of this group of bandits.

'Why must you take from us?!' She demanded, 'You have the vehicles and means to travel beyond the dam, we do not!' She stressed.

'That's 50 miles upstream, lady.' The soldier countered, calm in stature if not tone 'Even coming this far away from our outpost is a potential court-martial for all of us; you've got to see things from our point of view.'

'Jairani!' Chun-Li spoke up as she jogged to a stop alongside her, 'What's going on?' She asked, but knew full well what seemed to be happening.

'These... gentlemen... have come to relieve the village of our scarce remaining water.' Jairani answered with words that suggested she had far harsher words bottled up inside.

'Really?!'Chun-Li looked with faux-shock to the soldiers then back to her “Master”. 'Let's stop them then.' A gun was instantly aimed her way, Chun-Li didn't even look at the now provocative leader.

'Stand down!'He demanded, clueless as to what he had gotten into.

'You're clearly a verybrave man to aim a gun at me.' She stated as she slowly turned her head towards him, 'I'm not sure you want to be doing this here!' She sneered and prepared to take a step forwards.

'Stop.' Jairani held a hand out in front of her, 'Dhalsim says we are not to resist.' Chun-Li gawked at her.

'You can't be serious!'She argued, 'But people will-'

'I know.' Jairani answered before she could say it.

'The village needsthat water to-'

'I know!'Jairani repeated, through gritted teeth. 'I tried to argue this point, but we follow the way of pacifism and while you are inside our village we politely ask that you do the same.'

The two women stared at each other, both frustrated and desperate to act but their hands were tied. Chun-Li stepped back, 'Fine.' She simply said.

'That's the last of it, boss.' One soldier stated as he threw a barrel into the back of a truck.

'Alright, let's get out of here, boys!' The leader ordered before turning back and offering a shrug before boarding his truck and rapping on the roof. 'Roll out!'

Chun-Li and Jairani parted to let the trucks dig their wheels into the mud and speed off one-by-one. Chun-Li stared at each and every soldier who passed, memorizing the faces of each as they laughed and celebrated their “achievement”.

Hate seethed inside her as she turned to watch the last of the trucks leave the village; Jairani approached and laid a hand on her shoulder. 'Sorry you had to see that.'

Chun-Li didn't break her stare towards the village exit. 'I'm sorry that had to happen.' She answered, but her tone sounded more like one used before something horrifically pre-meditated.

In the darkness of a guest room, a figure rose; the dead of night was accompanied by the singing of crickets and silence in the Dojo's halls.

Chun-Li couldn't see much, but she focused her Ki towards her face and her eyes morphed inside her head until the room gained a little more clarity.

Silently she slipped out of bed, stark naked and looked down; the obvious thing to do would be to grab her usual clothes, but this was as great an opportunity as ever to try out her new abilities.

She hadn't told Jairani of the heights she had reached from the basic launchpad of her teachings, but she had far surpassed her Master in just a few short days.

She wondered what, now that she had the choice, she should wear and for whatever reason her mind fell to someone she should hate.

She pictured Juri, her skintight outfit and how it had looked to absolutely perfect for a deadly assassin. That, of course, was the game tonight; she imagined what her own version might look like.

She closed her eyes and focused; her skin warped, an outer layer morphing into existence. It took on a new, silk-like texture and clung tight to her real skin; figure hugging, but not restrictive.

While her main offence was her kicks, she felt at home in something like this and the blue with gold trim spoke to her fashion sense. She'd even managed to form a pair of shoes and cut them off from her sensory feedback, they were as good as the real thing.

All set, she approached the window and gently pushed it open, scanning outside to make sure no-one was awake to see her. She slid out of the window and silently vaulted up to the roof.

While that might have made quite the racket, her touch was soft; too soft to be natural in fact, weightless almost. She took one last scan of the courtyard to make sure no-one was looking.

Satisfied, she pushed that weightlessness and left the roof behind, floating gently off it for a moment before she drifted silently across it towards a blind corner where she could vanish into the bush.

She pounced down into the undergrowth and landed in a low squat, she was in the clear and so burst into a sprint. It was tough going until she made it to the road, but once she was there her Ki-enhanced speed allowed her to tear down the dirt path at frightening speed.

'So anyway, long story short, I said to her- URK!'One unlucky guard exclaimed and looked down to a pain in his gut; there, where he felt an unspeakable pain, he was glowing!

His veins bulged as that same, strange light coursed through them towards the glowing light in his midriff; he managed to half-turn and found himself looking at a very angry Chinese woman.

That same angry Chinese woman had fingers dug into each man's backs, clutching their spines; neither of them could so much as utter a peep despite the pain and their duty.

'Thank-you, gentlemen!'Chun-Li spat the words out in disgust, but she was nonetheless thankful for what they had given her. Their bodies crumpled to the floor, lifeless and missing something vitally important.

Chun-Li raised a hand and let sparkles of Ki float from her fingertips, smiling as she felt all that she had stolen. 'Ki absorption... Perfect!'She knew this would make her stronger, strong enough perhaps to stand a chance against Juri!

This new lease on life had Chun-Li feeling incredible! From the humble origins of that painful arm transformation, she'd learnt to change her whole body all the way to an almost liquidstate!

She could even – as she briefly had earlier – reduce her mass to make herself weightless; there was yet more to experiment with too!

She used a combination of skills the sup her arms into her body, glue her legs together and swim through the air like a Chinese dragon.

She squirmed through the air down towards what was obviously the barracks. She silently condensed herself against the wall beside the door in a vaguely Chun-Li-ish silhouette.

The door looked creaky and there was no other obvious way in, so the time had come to push herself! Her human-like shape thinned out until she vanished into the wall, slithering through its atoms to become a part of it.

On the far side, a few almost invisibly small feelers emerged and surveyed the surroundings: everyone was sound asleep! More and more of the silky royal blue spouts appeared as a womanly form poured through the wall.

Moments later Chun-Li was stood amongst the assorted man-pieces all snug in their beds; she smiled in delight, confident in the knowledge that they all had it coming!

As if melting, Chun-Li sloshed into a wide puddle on the floor that sent thin streams out towards all of those in range; reaching out to each cot, she then grew a single slinky feeler up and thrust every one across a face.

They jolted, all eleven of them, but it didn't take more than a moment from contact for her own, vastly superior Ki to conquer and take control of theirs!

This wasn't as new an ability as she might let on to, but she was finally confident enough to use it. She numbed each, calmed them as their faces lit up where she mothered them; their Ki's poured into her vampiric feelers.

It only took a few moments, but soon the now even morepowerful tendrils released their prey and the blue mass slowly sloshed together into a moving puddle that finally reared up as one.

Chun-Li splashed down on top of the last, sleeping soldier and like a wet dream startled him awake. 'WAAAH!'He flailed, but Chun-Li's solidifying hands snagged his wrists and pinned him down as she appeared knelt over him.

'Wh-' He tried to say, but as she phased through the sheets to snag him, she took control and denied him even a question!

'Shhh!'She softly demanded, looking down on him and releasing his arms as she froze him in place by manipulating his own Ki. She leant forwards on her elbows, looking over the shocked, but seemingly aroused man.

'Heh!' She almost whispered her laugh. 'After what you did, you think I came here to fuckyou?' She coarsely asked, 'Tough luck, soldier... I came to killyou!'

She didn't know why she was threatening him nor why she was explaining it, but she took some satisfaction in his fear. Maybe it was revenge, maybe it was more personal, she didn't care!

'Gladyou're scared, because so are the villagers you robbed!'She hissed under her breath, despite the barracks now being a mortuary. 'You feel that?' She asked, gasping a little in enjoyment as she tasted his Ki, drinking him by osmosis.

'That's how you die...' She whispered, smiling and licking her lips in a way totally at odds with her usual demeanour. Maybe it was the new powers or the new outlook on power and its uses, but Chun-Li was rather enjoying herself.

'All you can do...' She ran a finger over his face, covered as it was with a frozen expression of agony, '-is lie there, unmoving...' She tilted her head playfully as she gorged on his soul. '-and perish!'

She watched the life fade from his eyes and gave a little giggle, 'That's your just desserts, boys!' Chun-Li stated as she shape-shifted up to her feet between the beds.

'And that just leaves the piece of shit most responsible!' She sneered and walked towards the door, there was nobody left to get between them, nobody left to defend or alert him. Thatwas a satisfying thought indeed!

There was a swagger in Chun-Li's stride as she waltzed across the small courtyard past all the now useless vehicles; there was only one place left to empty and surprisingly there was a light on.

*TAP-TAP-TAP*She had to, knocking on the door and making an entrance was just tooappealing an opportunity to pass up! 'Huh? You're supposed to be on guard du-'

He opened the door and didn't find either of the people he was expecting. 'Who, me?'She asked and kicked him in the groin.

She knew she had to hold back, to try her best not to kill him in a single blow so she just made sure to bust his balls into a fine paste!

'YEIIIIIIIIIH!'He screeched as he soared halfway across the room and crumpled in a heap. Despite her new mindset, Chun-Li wasn't a total monster and knewthat must have hurt! Her wince said it all.

'Afraid your guards and all your men are dead, Captain.' She calmly stated as she stepped inside, swinging the door closed behind her.

'Whit...What... do you want?!' He tried so hard to keep his voice low and remotely manly now that his entire allocation was “F.U.B.A.R.”

He managed to get up to his knees, doubled over in pain. He sneered at her, but there was terror mixed in with that anger.

'What do I want?!'She demanded angrily and kicked him off his knees, through his table into the wall. He collapsed back down in a heap, coughing up blood. 'How dare you!?'

She stomped up to him and pushed her boot down on his throat. 'You've been exploiting a harmless village of people you're supposedto defend!' Chun-Li spat in anger.

'You're a disgrace to your uniform!' As she said it, she understood where all her anger was coming from: she too used to wear a uniform until she failed. She never betrayed that uniform though, it was takenfrom her!

'P-Please!' He coughed. 'Th-they told usto-' He coughed, '-to take from that village as part of the agreement!' Her attention was suddenly piqued so she lifted her foot off rather than killing him.

Chun-Li bent down and grabbed him by the back of the head, wrestling him up to stare at him from close range. 'Who?!'She demanded with fury. To her surprise he seemed to smile, laugh even.

'You... you don't know?' He waslaughing! 'S.I.N. are behind allof this!' He let it slip, Chun-Li's face suddenly a picture.

'S.I.N...' She muttered, thinking for a second until the officer's maniacal laughter disturbed her. 'Shut-' She slammed her other palm over his face and liquefied both hands. '-up!'

They squirmed like blue treacle over his whole head as he writhed in her grip; she didn't see fit to spare this piece of crap the relief of numbing or controlling him, instead she just smothered him in a tight head sack.

Her materials slithered inside his skull, snaking into every orifice until she found his brain and tapped into it!

'Tell me everythingyou know about S.I.N.!' She demanded and his struggling mind obeyed, serving up the information straight into her own.

They were close! They had a base nearby, a major one where they were... She gasped, what an opportunity! 'They're building M.Bison'snew body there?!' She asked.

Again, more in-depth knowledge as her mind-control plumbed the depths of all this one knew. 'Who else is there? Is...' She swallowed as she thought about it, 'Is Juri Hanthere?!'

She didn't know if the answer she received was terrifying or exhilarating, but her conqueror was indeed there...

She did get a few new images of the heinous acts that woman had committed; again she wanted to find fear or hatred welling up, but instead... She shook it off.

'Alright, who's responsible for letting this happen?' Chun-Li asked, but found the responses getting garbled; she realised she had suffocated him and his brain was simply running on fumes at this point.

'Hmph!' She got the name, that would haveto do. 'Useless!' She hissed and retrieved her fingers before tossing his lifeless corpse to the floor.

Chun-Li stood up with a deep heave; she'd done it! Regained her power and then some... and gained some much-deserved revenge for her friends in the village!

She turned to leave and considered what to do with this cursed place, considering maybe detonating all the explosives? She thought about the huge explosion that would cause and her heart thumped again.

She stopped, mid-stride as she stepped outside; she remembered the last explosion she'd seen, that day when Juri destroyed the theme park... She walked into the middle of the courtyard as she gathered Ki.

'How did you do it...?'She asked, focusing on an ever-increasing orb of Ki energy. She focused and focused on the now volatile concoction; she thought through destructive techniques she knew.

She gritted her teeth, squeezing the orb until finally, with a blinding flash of light she lit up the night and levelled everything else for 200 metres around.

When it was all over bar the smouldering of ruins and the last few shells going off, Chun-Li took the time to look around and smile, 'Heh...' She laughed, 'Heh-heh!' She was happywith that, 'Watch out, S.I.N.! I'm comingfor you!'
