He can also communicate with anyone in his army, and gives everyone a buff of 30% strength. As for the slavery. What normally happens among monsters is that they kill their enemies. It's just easier, and without making light of it, there's a lot of practical reasons for it. It's just accepted as another example of survival of the fittest. To not do so shows extreme confidence by Tempest. As for what they are doing, they are taking prisoners of war, who will be required to rebuild Carrion's city. Their tenure will not be unending. I don't know if that makes it better. ........ As for Shuna, she is not a powerhouse, but she has the Unique Skills Parser and Creator, which make her an expert in analyzing and creating magic. She can also teleport. ............................ In regards to the pendant, it was hard to obtain even one. However, an artifact isn't necessary for all forms of mind control. ........... Keep in mind that this is my interpretation of what I found, because it was a little confusing. Originally the core was in the Dryas tree, but as a dryad, a spiritual life form who is the offspring of fairies, she gains bodies by merging with a tree, then creates a physical body from magicules, then her astral body can possess it to move around. However, her actual core, or heart, remains within the tree. The process is to make a new core, and Rimuru used something like a magic stone from which all magicules were depleted as the basis. The final goal is a Chaos Core. Chaos is a term that represents a mix of light and dark aura (or holy and demonic, where demonic means monster, not demon. They sometimes use the term mystic for demonic.) Treyni's aura is holy, which she imbues into the orb, while Rimuru provides the demonic energy. The resulting Chaos core is then able to possess the wooden body (with a magisteel core) made from her original body, the Dryas tree. As a result of this procedure, Treyni has twice the energy as before (surpassing Shion), and gained physical strength and new Skills. Rimuru kind of picked this up as his research project after he became a Demon Lord, resulting from all the research Great Sage put in searching for some means to bring the dead back to life. I don't recall if I said it at the time, but Rimuru actually spent 3 days in the town square with the bodies trying to come up with something to save them, meanwhile using as many methods at his disposal to preserve the bodies and souls from deterioration.

Remember when he summoned Shizu? He said, "Another failure." Shizu probably took it one way, but what it seems he meant was that he didn't summon the person he was trying to summon. There are some more pieces of this project mentioned last episode, like the children and Rimuru's interference. This made me remember that there were a lot of things about Guy and Leon's conversation that I didn't talk about. I usually say more. Some info will be in future episodes which I will let happen. But there are three things I should have pointed out. One is that Guy is much stronger than Leon. And Guy is up there with Milim in age and length of time being a Demon Lord. Along with Ramiris, they are the three oldest Demon Lords. Second, notice that Guy is wondering what Milim is thinking. The way that part of the conversation goes is interesting, though not revealing. Third, when speaking about how Veldora's seal was broken, and what had happened to Veldora when he vanished, the idea that Rimuru might have broken the seal prompted Guy to exclaim that, if true, it would mean Rimuru has power equal to theirs. That's because being capable of breaking the Hero's seal requires a Skill that can do it, and even those with the right type of analytic Skill, wouldn't normally be able to do it. You need a Skill with enough capacity and power. In Rimuru's case, Unique Skill Great Sage was slowly working on it, but when it became Ultimate Skill Raphael it became fully equal to the task. That's what Guy was getting at. It's impossible to understate the importance of the difference between Ultimate and Unique Skills in this world. Despite that, the anime doesn't do a good job of making that clear.
