It's probably safe to assume, that it's Holo in the after credits scene. It's something that was never included in the older anime, wolf reminiscing her travels in a snow surrounded cabin. She probably made it to the Yoitsu eventually, with or without Lawrence. I just hope they'll give the story some kind of conclusion this time. Previous series ended with them just leaving one town (and probably on to the next adventure). So far the remake has been almost 1:1 with the previous adaptation, with slightly refined storytelling and better animations. I don't know the light novel/manga, so I can't say how much, or what was left out in the original adaptation. But so far there hasn't been huge differences, other than Yarei being a man. The character replacing him was a woman called Chloe. And to be honest, she didn't fit well into the backstory of being Kraft's pupil/apprentice. Current episode was basically the beginning of the second season, so the pacing has been mostly same as well. But I'm excited to see what's to come, because the second season of the original anime wasn't as good as the first season (maybe I'm just bitter at the ending). Hopefully they've kept up with current quality for the whole season this time.
