The Netflix journey begins. I loved this season but my only complaint was it was only 10 episodes! The episodes just zip along, not a second wasted by the scriptwriters so yes, rewind if necessary, don't miss any hints, clues etc but be prepared to be surprised, blindsided and shocked at times while laughing so much at others. The scriptwriters don't disappoint and Netflix gave them permission to tell the story as they really wanted to albeit keeping much of what made us fans fall in love with it all in the first place. But only 10 episodes! It will really leave you wanting more... but I suppose that is the idea!

2025-09-21 21:22:05 +0000 UTCGreat reaction as per usual. lots of food for thought indeed! Every episode of season 4 is packed, every scene serves a purpose to progress the story, no more fillers. This means we get to know what the "secret plan" is right in the next episode, why Chloe is acting the way she is and who G. MacTavish character is. Speaking of him, he was not the narrator in episode 3-26. The "voice of God" was Neil Gaiman's, the author of the comics on which this series is based on, the guy who also wrote The Sandman. Fun fact: when Maze was speaking "Lilim" in Linda's office, she was actually speaking Afrikans. They chose that language because L-A Brandt is a South-African native and can easily speak it, and also because it's not a widely understood language so it could, with the right intonation, easily sound demonic to the audience.
