They’re played by the daughters of Steve Cohen, the billionaire owner of the New York Mets baseball team. There was some uproar over that when this aired because they had their father cheat their way through college by donating an enormous amount of money on their behalf, and the whole casting situation was viewed as nepotism. However, they’re as unpleasant and irritating as can be in those roles, so it works.

So it only took 15 seasons for them to remember they existed. Also, the actor playing Uncle Donald reminds you of Luther because it’s the same actor. He’s just gained weight.
