If this show has taught me one thing, It's to never trust a 'death' that happens off-screen. Also, I love how we spent an entire season trying to break Whistler out of Sona and then he gets killed in the first episode of this season.

2025-03-19 00:21:40 +0000 UTCFunny thing is, later on the writers admitted they did have LJ phrase it like that so that it would be *possible* to bring the character back - but it was a "just in case" kind of thing, they weren't actually planning on it at the time. So in a way, you were still right to pick up on that. :D

Interesting that she actually was intended to be dead. It felt to me like they were actually purposefully vague about LJ not seeing it etc. And yeah funny how my misinterpretation caused me to be ready for her re-reveal lol

2025-02-19 11:26:23 +0000 UTCPersonally, I really like the first half of season 4. For me, it's a step up from season 3 and I loved the new direction. The second half, not so much... although I was satisfied with how it wrapped up in the end.

2025-02-18 19:56:57 +0000 UTCYay, Sara's alive! :D It's unfortunate you kind of ruined the surprise for yourself when you went into this episode with the misunderstanding that Mahone was referring to Sara rather than Gretchen when he talked about the "weak link". The thing is, everything I said before about what went on behind the scenes was true. When they shot season 3, they really did kill off Sara - it was not intended to be a fakeout or a trick. In fact, the plan at the time was to introduce a new love interest for Michael later in season 3, and these plans were even so advanced that they were planning a new spin-off series featuring that new character. But then the big writers' strike of 2007-08 happened, which forced them to end season 3 with episode 13 (it was originally meant to be a 22 season like the others). With that, plans had to change, and the decision was made to bring Sara back - after the actress and the producers patched things up. Things had gotten rather ugly between them, and this was publicly known... so when they actually managed to "revive" Sara, it was a big deal, since at one point that had seemed impossible. Anyway, RIP Whistler, and RIP Mahone's hopes and dreams.

2025-02-18 19:55:03 +0000 UTCLets go u finally started season 4, lot of people kinda disagree on whether season 4 is good/bad compared to the previous seasons i personally think its interesting and im excited to see what u think about it as u progress further, and if u were talking about Whistler that u know him from somwhere he was in Dexter season 5 part of that crew!
