Good news, everyone! The next release will be out by the end of the week!

Bad news, everyone...? I've been stuck on stupid for a long time now. Outside of putting too many hours into my new part-time job (trying to get in good with the new boss who doesn't even seem to know I exist so what am I even doing?), I've been dedicated to learning blender and marvelous designer to create my own outfits. This was a very bad idea. I even tried to get help from an amazing person I follow on DeviantArt (even got some video lessons) but it was of no use no matter how hard she tried to help me. Everything I tried to make was garbage. I would never have made it as a fashion designer and definitely not as a 3D modeler. I don't know what I was thinking! I'm sticking to mix-matching DAZ assets and making custom textures from now on.

Thankfully I've come to my senses and thrown all the 3D mess I made into the rubbish bin. I've returned to writing and rendering (as I should have been doing this whole time) and I've been making a lot of progress on the next update. I hope to have at least 30 minutes of content for all paths.

Also I intended to have two more wallpapers here but DAZ3D decided to clear out all my "Smart Content" after an update of the DAZ manager. Very frustrating. I will have the wallpapers up as soon as I get the content fixed again.

Sorry to hear you struggled with trying to learn 3D modeling. I imagine you could figure it out and improve, but it's demanding trying to learn something like that under pressure. And slightly ambitious thinking you could just pick up an entire field of art on the side. But at least you're back at it!

Agree with the other sentiments not to be too hard on yourself for not succeeding with outfit modeling. In these times just having someone go completely radio silent is worrying so I just personally ask that you give us a holler now and again so we don't have to wonder if something happened.

Awesome on the good news and the amount of content! But please don't put yourself down like that. I can totally understand trying to learn something new that might help you with your job. It didn't work out, but "This new thing I've tried isn't working for me" is a lesson too - one you don't learn without trying it out and one that doesn't require underlined and bolded messages of failure. I'm just looking forward to Shparkle's next adventures!

But at least you tried it. Good on you for trying something new and know when to cut your losses.
